A friendly, social pub selling good beers and food. Dog friendly, close to the railway station, and there are guest rooms which I haven't tried yet.
Great bands play here. A nice beer garden is also available.
The customer service is very good with attentive staff.
We stayed for 1 night on Saturday as our daughter was running in the Brighton Half Marathon. Claire and Shannon were very helpful when we called and then responded to our emails regarding booking taxis and having an extra bed etc. The rooms were comfy and clean and really nice. Added bonus was the entertainment on Saturday night, really good band and despite having to get up early we stayed until the end singing and dancing. This really is a great place for a stay over.
We had to leave at 7am so didn't sample breakfast.
Yes, the service is slow at the Crab Tree. There appeared to be only one person behind the bar and one in the kitchen, even though the pub was quite busy on this freezing Wednesday evening in January. However, the food was worth the wait. We both ordered steak and kidney pie from the "under £6" menu and it was really excellent, beautifully presented on the plate with a wonderful selection of vegetables including red cabbage and swede and carrot mash. I suppose they make their profit on the drinks: I thought the Fullers London Pride was expensive at £3.60 but it was a very nice pint.
I came here after a day out with the kids. The first thing that strikes you is the do or die carpark! Tight to get into but a carpark none the less.
There is a beer garden with wooden seating and things to keep the kids occupied, climbing frame, slide, playhouses etc.
Inside could do with a bit of updating but it's pleasant enough and the staff were friendly enough.
A well kept pint as well!
This pub is amazing, friendly staff, food is fantastic, rooms are nice and reasonable rates, fantastic location right by a train station
Really friendly and helpful staff. We were made very welcome. Evening meal was home made and wholesome. Stayed over for a gig there by a friend. Good atmosphere. Room was spacious and well equipped if a little dated in its decor. Free parking close by and great location for exploring the town which has lots to offer.
Stayed here for 1 night only as a stop over. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room and bathrooms were clean.
Stayed for one night as had to be up and about in Shoreham early in the morning. 10/10 service, thank you for being so friendly and understanding when we unfortunately checked in quite late. A very comfy bed and good night’s sleep, bathroom could benefit from a spruce up, but ultimately, for the price we paid and the location, we were absolutely thrilled, so thank you!
Lovely, friendly pub with great food.
Loved the decor and feel of this really spacious pub , loads of live music, come along and see!
Only have a few drinks and watch a live band, had a good night friendly bar..
We stayed for 3 nights in one of their 6 letting rooms which was very comfortable. We ate in on our first night and had a really good meal, with a decent pint of ale too. There are outside tables both in the open and under cover along with 3 internal seating areas. The owner & staff were very friendly & accomodating.
Been here loads always great service and friendly staff, good beer selection and the food is also very good, they offer a great variety to suit any dietary requirements and also do specials aswell.
Always something going on with live music on almost every week.
Rooms are clean and tidy and very reasonably priced! had a great nights sleep.
Will definitely be back keep it up !
Nice Fullers local, very handy for the railway station.
London Pride was on top form & the pies are recommended!
Some interesting local artefacts are on display.
Good value comfortable room (room 5) with en suite. Marvellous location close to everything in Shoreham. Nice friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Pleasant pub garden, good for children. Right next the railway station, which is also handy.
