A friendly, social pub selling good beers and food. Dog friendly, close to the railway station, and there are guest rooms which I haven't tried yet.
Great bands play here. A nice beer garden is also available.
The customer service is very good with attentive staff.

Yes, the service is slow at the Crab Tree. There appeared to be only one person behind the bar and one in the kitchen, even though the pub was quite busy on this freezing Wednesday evening in January. However, the food was worth the wait. We both ordered steak and kidney pie from the "under £6" m
I came here after a day out with the kids. The first thing that strikes you is the do or die carpark! Tight to get into but a carpark none the less.
There is a beer garden with wooden seating and things to keep the kids occupied, climbing frame, slide, playhouses etc.

We stayed for 3 nights in one of their 6 letting rooms which was very comfortable. We ate in on our first night and had a really good meal, with a decent pint of ale too.
