Wow! What a great welcome and atmosphere.
I never do reviews, but this is an exception.
I believe the managers name was Chloe who greeted me and my partner with a warm welcome and smile! Food was quick and well priced.
She cleared our plates and tried to tempt us with desert but was too full so prom
Went here for Sunday lunch, really good, had roast trio dinner, as did my brother, my partner had roast beef, all very good,Also we all had deserts,very nice also. would certainly go back.Couldn't fault it.
Called in one lunchtime, some items on the menu were out of stock - staff explained they were waiting for a delivery, but we were offered suitable substitutions. Staff were pleasant and the pub had a nice atmosphere. The pumped coke & lemonade tasted very odd, so we swapped them for bottled version
After a 12k walk up, some hills in warm weather, this pub was a welcome sight.
Their all-day Sunday lunch was good to see.
I probably should have gone for the crispy chicken burger. Lamb was a bit chewy, but the portion was generous. Roast potatoes reheated so a bit dry, but hey, it was 3.45pm.

Recently moved to the area, we've driven past the pub a handful of times and always said how lovely it looks. Lived up to expectations. Wonderful service and atmosphere. The chicken burger was amazing, the best chicken burger I've eaten out in a long, long time!!!
Bustling bar this long weekend visit. Really cute low ceiling bar that you don't often see these days. Clean loos. Front parking is not huge. Good vibe and canine friendly.
100% for the staff. Chilled, efficient, friendly and helpful.
Dog and family friendly, good food, decent beers. Parking could be dicey at busier times but we were in early so it was no problem.
Booked in for four for a family lunch. There was a distinct lack of staff and bar staff pointed us to our table around the corner. No reserved sign on table but it was not very full so were able to choose our table. Food and drinks ordered at bar. After 30 minutes, four meals delivered to table
I've been here before many times, but the last time I was a little disappointed in the meal. I said at the time that it won't stop me from going there again, it may have been me that had a bad day, not the chef. Went there again yesterday and had a very nice meal so I am glad that I gave it another
I haven't been in here for quite a while, so was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is now, good atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff, highly recommend a visit, I know I shall visit again 😀
My wife and I popped in for lunch on Saturday. What a great pub. It has a very 'village pub' decor and atmosphere and the service was great. Good food at reasonable prices. We'll be going back!
Spent the weekend in Shorham and this was far and above the best place we ate!!
The food was totally delicious, really well priced, good portions and a great selection of gluten free and vegan options.
The staff were lovely, the place was clean and the garden is just lovely.

Delightful spot. Lovely staff, nice food, good vibes. They even let me recharge my e-bike, using their outdoor socket, no less. Will definitely be back, highly recommended.
