The Waterside Inn - Shoreham-by-Sea - Photo album

This pub is big and designed to accommodate families, so don't expect fine dining and exclusivity. Do expect plenty of comings and goings, children, exasperated mums and some noise. Parking is easy and we were welcomed by friendly, efficient staff. There are chewing-gum machines, a permanently-on te
This is an interesting old hotel with an attractive facade. Inside there are a number of rooms where one can sit for a meal. We opted for the Seniors Special which was good value - a main and dessert for 5.49. One of us enjoyed Bangers and Mash while the other had Chicken Diane - both quite satisfy
Nice spot for a quick pint after a 40km cycling session. Can't speak for the food, but the staff were friendly and offered prompt and courteous service for that much needed early afternoon pint before commencing the final 12km leg home! Will definitely visit again and grab a bite one day. Lovely pi
Such a surprise, we were expecting nothing (given that the pub is owned by a retailer) but the service is good, and the food is great. I mean, it's great if you just want to grab something affordable and tasty. Anyways I'll be back for sure.
The vegan mushroom pie with chips, peas and gravy was pretty good. The two for £11.49 meant that is was good value. Nice spot next to the river, with views over to Shoreham High Street
There was a time when you steered clear of this pub especiaily if you liked a good pint. That's changed for the better. The beer is well kept and the company is great. It's altogether a much tighter ship, well managed , and its just around the corner.
Popped in here as we'd heard how reasonable it was for the 3 course senior meal. The food was really good. Will 100% be going back in the very near future
Came here on a sunny afternoon, it was so nice to sit outside with the beautiful view. Great prices, good quality and big portions. The staff were super friendly. Could not fault this place, perfect for a casual meal. Would definitely return.
This is my favourite pub in shoreham! The atmosphere is great, staff really friendly and they show all sport. Don't eat very often but when I have done the food has been tasty and good value, would definitely recommend!
Lovely place with great views, staff were friendly and quick even though they were understaffed!! We had the Ribeye Steak which was cooked perfectly and the meal was great! It's a family and sports pub but has lots of room and is short walk from beach at Shoreham so could be busy in Summer!!!
Good pub with friendly staff and great views at the back over the estuary. Also a really good spot to watch the sunsets. The pub also has good value food. Portions good and meals tasty. Also a good array of variety. Nice location just over the walking bridge in to town centre. Nearby good walks alon
Friendly staff and good food, plus the prices are good also. It's definitely a place where I would go again to rest during my bike trips.
Good pub. Friendly staff. Food is decent and good value for money. Plenty of tv's to watch football/rugby/cricket.
Lovely place. Been a couple of times now and the food is great. Vegan options are fantastic. Staff are lovely and will b going as often as possible. Shame we don't live nearer! A great place
This is our family friendly local, lovely staff, lovely food. And for when we don’t have the kids, we love the over 18’s side of the pub with pool table and darts etc. A***
A lovely pub, great beer and great food. At peak times, maybe a few more pair of hands behind the bar would not go amiss.
