Had my 21st birthday party in the function room upstairs and it was amazing! The staff looked after us especially Elisa and the lovely barmaid. Great food and drinks! Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in having a party! Thank you so much!! �

Went for a meal Saturday night 3rd June. Great service, very helpful staff, I had the Tuna which was delicious and my friend had the scampi. A live band called "Don't Ask" was playing which made the evening we didn't leave until late . Great atmosphere. Well done !
Literally just walked in off the street after a stroll and sat out in the back garden . Beautiful summers evening and a great view .Love the bar stools looking over the river .. ..Will definitely be back

We haven’t been here for years but we had heard it’s under new management so visited late yesterday afternoon. What a stunning pub! We sat outside in glorious sunshine watching the world go by. We all ordered fish and chips and honestly I wish we had taken a photo! This meal was delicious. The food here was served promptly and hot, both are very rare nowadays. We are looking forward to our friends 30th next month and I have recommended here as I think the vibe is hits the spot!
We visited bank holiday Monday and I have to say the 2 lovely servers on shift were absolutely rushed off their feet but still managed service with a smile. They literally did not stop. I really hope they are appreciated by their manager and payed appropriately. They certainly earned it! Kudos to the chef too! Lovely food
We had a lovely roast today. Our son can be very fussy, but they tailored to his needs with no problem. The staff were super friendly and it was a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
This was the best roast dinner I've had in AGES! And the staff - Louise in particular - were brilliant, and provided outstanding customer service (which is so lacking in lots of places these days!) Thanks for a lovely Sunday visit.. I had brought my parents who were visiting from Kent, and they were really impressed. We had a lovely afternoon, thank you x

Visited the bar with friends recently, we had some nibbles from the menu which were nice and sat along the river having a drink.
What a dreamy location.
We were welcomed by the landlady who was very welcoming and showed us towards the bar and invited us to sit by the river.
Really lovely venue and will be looking into hiring their function room for my birthday this year.
Popped in for lunch today, WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR! place was lovely and clean, staff were Ever so friendly.
General atmosphere was great! And my food was was just perfect, sat out the back enjoying the sunshine without any OTT music. I’ll be back !

We sat outside & enjoyed the view of the waterway. Place was nice & clean, spacious & good service. Not too expensive- fair price for our food. Will visit again when in the area
Went over to the Crown yesterday after work as the Crown is a great place to catch the evening sun. Was an amazing atmosphere, sitting by the river with great music and the bar maid's was incredibly friendly despite how busy the pub was for one person. Definitely recommend.

The food was really nice. Good portion size, and we all loved the roast potatoes. The setting is nice and open... with good outside space too. The service was good, especially from the girls in the team. The live music while eating was nice. It was a bit loud though, when you just want to have a relaxing lunch. But the toilets weren't so nice, and neither were the soft furnishings, which are screaming out to be cleaned or updated.
The staff were super attentive and really looked after us and we had a most enjoyable Sunday Lunch - food was fantastic and plenty of it. Its great when you eat somewhere and they offer a jug of water and even more impressive when they have added lemons & limes - nice touch.
Absolutely scrumptious food, also received such a warm welcome, very happy staff, especially the fabulous lady who worked at the bar and seemed to be the life and soul of the place and was very popular with the punters. The atmosphere was brilliant. Also the drinks were divine, all in all I rate this place 5 STAR'S and I can't wait to go back, it's worth every penny indeed. I always like this pub for lunch, on the river-side terrace preferably. Reasonable prices, very nice food and drinks. The staff are good. Fab location.
