Popped in with the family for a post sports day meal , we all enjoyed our food and recommend this new addition to Shoreham town ..... Peroni on draught would be my only suggestion for slightly selfish reasons ...... can’t blame me for trying hehe

The Tap Hse is a much valued addition to Shorehams tired offerings. I have been there trice and had a really nice experience. From the staff to overall atmos. Will return defo.

Made our first visit yesterday evening with Teddy the terrier cross! What lovely helpful people you are. Having sampled a couple of excellently delivered pints, we're looking forward to trying the food next time.
A great little Bar-Restaurant located not far from the River Adur. It has a decent variety of local beers, ales, and gins. There was a reasonable amount of indoor and outdoor seating for its size. With outdoor seating, it leaves you in a great atmosphere, especially when the sun is shining and the nice cool breeze from the river hits you.
The food I had was very tasty and freshly cooked. There's a good mixture of choices of options on the menu depending on your preferences. All of the staff were very friendly and efficient. The number of toilet facilities was fairly limited for both male and females.
Overall, everything was fairly priced. I had a pleasant experience on this visit, so I would definitely like to visit again.
Food was beautiful. My parents had cod, wrapped in Parma ham, samphire and sweetcorn puree. I had the chicken ballotine and caramel parfait. All very tasty and perfectly cooked.
Staff was really friendly, helpful and efficient. Food atmosphere with not too loud music that allows for conversations. Nicely decorated, good a choice behind the bar. We will definitely return.

6 of us visited The Tap House yesterday at 4pm for a late lunch. Our waitress was really friendly & efficient. All of us enjoyed our starter & mains & the vegetarian options. Nicest place I have been to since moving to Shoreham 7 months ago. Would definitely go again. Thank you guyz.

Had a very nice pub lunch and pint of bitter after cycling the Downs Link to Shoreham. Sat outside next to the pedestrian area. Waitress service. Food looked ordinary but tasted great (could be the cycling appetite). The beer was very good (could be the cycling thirst). The price was reasonable.
Absolutely delish roast with one of the best gravies I’ve ever tried! Little bit of a wait in the restaurant but no worries as it was noticeably busy.
Looked at the menu at the Tap house it looked interesting we started with 3 small plates cauliflower steak, pigs cheek and artichoke soup with crispy egg they were all delicious followed by a portion of mussels full of flavour. We just managed a portion of the dark chocolate tart. The staff were lovely definitely back with friends
We came here on Sunday and we were all just so impressed! Staff so attentive & friendly - lots of smiles & went the extra mile for us to have a great time. Food was so tasty, fresh and portion sizes really good. They even let our mains hold off whilst we had a break after our starters.
People mentioned expensive but we are from London and thought the wine was extremely reasonable, just over £20 for a bottle of really lovely wine! Cocktails very decently priced and so tasty.
Overall we just had a lovely time, the decor is stunning too - we can’t wait to be back.
