Excellent restaurant. We visited for the first time recently and the food was delicious, well priced and the service was superb. We had a pleasant conversation with staff and found everything to be perfect.
We have since returned for the take out pizzas, again excellent food and a good deal on pizz
If you like to taste Sussex, taste fresh, support local produce prepared to a high standard, served well in simple surroundings, this is for you. Everything, including the beer, comes from just a few miles away. You won't beat this in Shoreham, in fact, you would struggle to beat this in Sussex. Exc
I Tried Slate after many recommendations. I was not disappointed. The staff are all really lovely and helpful. The food exquisite. A wonderful dining experience for everyone on our large groups table.
I had the most fantastic time here last night when visiting with friends.

Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food, service 5 star. It was a meal out to celebrate both my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary, we could not have been happier. Thank you for the little cake/candle gesture.
Wow, try the steak! Not the cheapest but the steaks are to die for. Not much in the way of veg accompaniment but you can order more from the menu. Had a lovely meal, the staff were friendly and helpful. Husband said it was one of the best pizzas he had eaten. Wine was good and reasonably priced. We will be back
Found this restaurant while searching for somewhere to take the family for a late afternoon Sunday roast.
My husband and I enjoy cooking, so when we find somewhere and say we couldn't do better ourselves, it is praise indeed!!

5 star quality food and service with a friendly genuine feel to the place. I've dined in a group of ten and for a meal for two and both meals have been faultless. Staff go the extra mile to make it special for their customers.
Just had a great lunch here, amazing value from the set menu, every course was a really high standard. Thoroughly recommend, best food we've eaten in Shoreham.
Had pizza with friends. Service is excellent and lovely friendly people. Couldn't fault the food was really tasty and will be definitely taking some more friends again.
