Great family meal! We booked a late lunch for on the way back, while out for the day at The Science Museum Think Tank. Conveniently located near the M42, it's also right next to a premier inn. I'm always passing by, but I haven't been here for ages! It's a one-way system, but it's easy to get to and plenty of parking spaces, even when really busy. There's always a warm welcome. We were shown straight to a fabulous large quiet seating area, as a big group eating. We did have to wait ages before being asked for our drinks order though! Once the food was ordered, we could all grab our much loved salads and the main food wasn't too long after. The salad bar does get raided, but they do keep it topped up and cleaned intermittently. Overall they were friendly staff and great food which everyone enjoyed. Some people even had room for pudding 🍮

We were greeted by Lee who was very welcoming and cheerful. We were seated and then our waitress Liberty took over... This young lady was the pinnacle of how people in hospitality should be... There was 7 of us in our breakfast party all giving this lady requests and she took them in her stride. She was attentive, courteous and professional to her customers and did a fantastic job throughout... A big well done from us. 🤗 The toast was flowing and so was the unlimited tea, although served in pots for two it was replenish quickly when asked. We did notice the toasted bread here was very soft and tasty unlike other venues that possibly use less quality bread. The breakfast was cooked to order and was beautifully presented (photos) and there was plenty of it on the unlimited... Although you can re order items, the amount on the first order is more than plenty... Being honest we weren't sure about the beans as they were a little bland (still ok but maybe needed seasoning) but the rest of the breakfast was lovely and the price was great. The dining area was clean and well decorated. All in all this was nice place to eat and meet up with friend and the service was impeccable so 5 stars from me 😎

The starters and main meals except one were lovely, very tasty. Unfortunately, one of the meals was sent back due to a chicken breast not being cooked right. The rest of the mains were okay... The harvester restaurant itself is nice and clean inside. The biggest letdown is, unfortunately, the staff. The staff is very slow and hard to call back to a table. We ordered a few rounds of drinks , first took a very long time to come ( needed to ask for it twice), and second round, which was ordered with mains needed to be cancelled due to finishing food without

The building unfortunately is in great need of repair and painting. Inside its bright with pleasing lighting. Welcome staff member to my table, from which I had Sophie as my waiter. What a charming person, great smile, attention to detail, and kept in touch to make you feel comfortable. Very quiet but quickly filled with family's. Good recommendation to anyone or family for good food. Thanks Sophie 😊 Charlie.

We went for breakfast, and the food was tasty, hot, and reasonably priced. I marked down on atmosphere as there were only another two small parties in there the same time as us, so there wasn't much of an atmosphere but not the fault of the venue. The restaurant was clean, and the waitress was very attentive. I would definitely go back 😊

Was quiet when we arrived. We were seated by a v loud man in his phone, which made conversation difficult. The food was nice but the rolls were stale. I remarked to the waitress who asked the kitchen to replace them. We had the scampi, it was really nice. Waitress was competent & pleasant.

We have just had an amazing breakfast at Harvester (Monkspath). There was a Santa's Grotto, the great man himself, as well as a gift for each child. All at no cost. The gift contained entertainment for the children. After our breakfast, our child was invited to join the Christmas drawing table. There were plain wooden Christmas decorations and paper for children to colour in, all supervised by a member of staff. A big thank you to Sophie and Liberty for entertaining our child (and us in the process) and spreading some Christmas joy. With regards to the food, very prompt service despite all the distractions and extremely well cooked.

Had another lovely evening last night at Monkspath Harvester. After a quick trip to the salad bar ( loving the blue cheese coleslaw), we ordered Nachos and halloumi fries starters then triple combo and bird, surf & turf (the steak was cooked to perfection ! ). The food was faultless, we loved it. Thanks go to Zak who serves us our drinks, Anjali who took our order and Ariet who served us our meals, all were extremely polite, friendly and professional. However special thanks must go the the staff in the kitchen who were working extremely hard and made the evening very enjoyable. We shall be back !

Visited today and was served by Megan who was amazing. Really helpful and clearly knew the menu well and we never felt pressured to finish our food too quickly. The food was superb and portion sizes are very generous for the very fair price. Really recommend to anyone in the area !

We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be back again. The staff was absolutely lovely and the food was incredible. I know they say don't eat anything bigger than your head but the ice-cream was just to hard to say no to.

Visited yet another one of my favourite places, as ever, all good, but it seems the prices are getting steeper and portions are getting smaller. But I guess that is the same everywhere. Free parking, loads of space and friendly staff will make up for the shortfalls.

The salad bar is now back though its not a self serve option just yet. The food was great as usual. The service was also good. A good place to ease down a bit and enjoy. Ample parking too. It's a good place to take the family too.

Waited a short while to be seated, not many staff were about although it wasn't busy. Once seated we were seen quickly and staff were very polite. One of our party had special diet requirements, and they had no issue catering to this. Food took some time to arrive, the waitress actually chased it for us as she thought it was a while. Once it arrived it was nice though. Overall good, nice place, nice staff and good food. Just needs service to be a touch quicker.
