Amazing. FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. Totally recommened. Would say go on a saturday to Tuesday if eating in cuz of half price of mains. But the rest if want half price of dessert. The unlimted stuff is something that is so nice, you would be speading £1.20 per bread and butter but here it comes with the meal. Its just so welcoming and lovely. The takeaway option is good as well. Its inclusive and doesnt just do fish and chips. Totally would recommend. Cant wait till i could here again.

Nice fish and chip restaurant food good, friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Great parking. Only criticisms were chips needed a bit more cooking and for some reason didn’t serve any regular Coca Cola or Pepsi. Only diet or sugar free variants which was frustrating.

This place has a great atmosphere with its American diner look and the food was brilliant, though a bit steep in my opinion just for fish and chips. I cannot fault the staff as they gave us outstanding service, coming over multiple times to ask how the food was or asking if we needed anything else.

I went for the very last time other day, had a lovely meal. Really enjoyed meal. Shame its having to close. You will be missed. Hard times unfortunately are making these places close, because it will be very expensive to just turn on the lights. Good luck to everyone

Excellent food. Never been let down. The staff and venue are well organized with a one way system, hand sanitizer, menus on the wall by the table so no handling. Tables left unused so social distancing kept. Kitchen staff wear masks. The only reason why I have not given 5 stars is that there is no macaroni cheese on the menu. This is superb and always my first choice. Bring it back please. The half price main courses are brilliant.

Excellent food and very good value. Freshest fish and chips I’ve tasted in the Midlands. Beats local more expensive venues comfortably. Second free helping of chips was generous. Free bread and spread a nice touch too as was the refillable soft drinks. Staff happy and helpful. Would recommend to anyone and definitely would visit again

Travelled all the way from Great Barr to try this place out. Best fish and chips I've ever had. Seriously, never had such quality fish and chips, great value, great interior and great service. Totally worth the trip. We'll be back very soon!

Excellent quality and quantity of food with great service. Shame it is closing as it's a lovely place which probably just needs a few changes to lift the atmosphere to bring in a few more customers.

I have experienced a few so called fish bars but this one was very good. Let's start by saying , it was a super hot day in the UK. Yes I know, really. Yes it was.The restaurant was fully air conditioned. The staff were very pleasant and the cod and chips were very very nice. My word the cider at £2.49 a pint. Made it a done deal on such a hot day. The whole experience was great. Good price too. Yes I would recommend this fish bar. Very clean and quick service.

We have been driving past this place for ages and always meant to go there, so glad we eventually did!! The fish and chips is the best around and the menu offers a reasonably priced range of options to suit all. Even veggies!! Social distancing in place and table service at present. The. Girls are always friendly, willing and helpful. Love them!!

Big portions of lovely fat chips and delicious well battered fish. Proper mushy peas! Or beans served in a ramekin. Great that there are full sized Heinz tomato ketchup bottles on the table. Help yourself to as much as you want to dip your chips in!! Very welcoming friendly staff in the American diner style restaurant. You see lots of people coming for take away. Big car park.

Solihull Finest Catch was yummy & delicious. It's the best Cod and Chips I ever had. This is my favourite place for cod and chips whether it is eating In or taking out. I love their other food on the menu too. It's probably the best Cod and chips in Solihull. The size of the Cod and Chips was reasonable. It was quite big. It should be for a large! I would definitely come back and order the cod and chips again. The food was piping hot and perfectly cooked; the batter on the cod was light, golden and crispy. The Chips are quite chunky there was enough chips. It was worth it for the price for £7.49 I also ordered the milkshake, I thought the price for the milkshake was little over price for £2.69 although it tasted lovely. I placed my Order on the phone for a take out; the staff was friendly and helpful. I then approach the counter and the staff was very pleasant. Also I was greeted by the manager she was very lovely and thoughtful. I had a big order with two take out Milkshake. It came with a take out bag and a drink holder for the drinks. The manager ask whether I needed help to my car. She was very thoughtful and kind Best service and food I had for while now; definitely recommend Solihull Finest Catch.

Visited a few weeks ago with a friend. Had a lovely meal of fish & chips with as much bread & butter & cups of tea as we wanted. The fish was great, cooked just as we liked with crispy batter & the chips were good too. We didn't have any desserts so cannot comment on those, but can definitely recommend their fish & chips. Noticed that the staff were quick to clear & clean tables ready for the next customers 👍🏻.

If you like fish and chips...? Seaside style!? This is the best fish and chips in brum! Excellent price on half price days! Good service too! Can be busy before 7.30pm on half price days, but really nice food and beer. A weekly treat for the family. Don't believe the negative reviews. Lovely.
