They are a wonderful friendly team and so dog friendly, my Dog Molly regularly pulls me in for fuss and a bowl of water. Lots of space upstairs if you prefer not to sit with Dogs. Really welcoming and amazing food x
Didn't eat on this occasion. Enjoyed a very good Hazy Jane by Brewdog. Served by the very enthusiastic Ella or Ellie from Worcestershire (apologies for not correctly remembering the said person's name).
Look forward to popping back and trying the food.

Came here for a family get together meal and had a fantastic time.The food was really tasty and nothing like what I've had before.The place was decorated beautifully and had a really laid back atmosphere,the meal wasn't rushed and the staff were very attentive. Only negative to the night was the draft beer wasn't working but there are plenty more drinks too go at .Definitely a place I'd recommend and go again if I was in Shirley!!!!
Came here for family brunch, Ages 18 months to 60. Excellent staff, wide choice and good service. Food arrived promptly even with a wide selection ordered. Tried Miami Brunch as vegetarian option as was pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. Would recommend this as there is also a play corner for little ones who may need more distraction. Good music too.
We had a 50th Birthday for 29 people and - Bobby and team were excellent as we were asked to pre-inform the kitchen of our order. They had organised the upstairs to our preference and we were asked when we wanted the food to come out (the staff were excellent and very efficient) which was lovely (and hot!).
We have also been for breakfast / dinner as a couple on several occassions and the place is great with a really good atmosphere.
Love this place! I love their menu, always take some time to choose what to order, just because there are so many delicious options to choose from.
I'd give Desco Lounge 10 stars if I could. Been several times because the food is absolutely amazing and always hits the spot. Never fails to disappoint. Plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians too. Play area for kids, board games, dog friendly, and even a book share!! So quirky and amazing! A firm favourite! Food can take a while sometimes, but the staff are really nice and tell you before you order.
As always with a lounge, great choice for coeliacs. The GF fryer was not working, however, I was still offered plenty of choices and even a soft drink on the house as an apology. Superb service and fantastic atmosphere , always have a great experience! Thank you Desco!
Really loved my visit here -lovely environment-tapas was well cooked and tasty .
We came here with family for a Christmas lunch. We had our Guide Dog puppy Hugo with us too and well behaved dogs are welcome here downstairs. There is a dog free eating area upstairs too. The meal was delicious and there was a good choice on the menu. My only gripe was because it was busy the food took a while to come but once it arrived it was worth the wait as it was very tasty. I would recommend for dog and no dog owners.
Never had a bad experience here! Staff always lovely & friendly, really kind waitress which blonde hair & tattoos always comes to have a chat & pet our dog. Food is nice & comes out quickly, my son loves it here.
From booking the table, to attentive staff, excellent food, warm & welcoming atmosphere it was a totally brilliant experience. I really appreciate that dogs are allowed & that just adds to it all, we didn't bring our dogs, but they do help customers interact with each other further enhancing the atmosphere!! Great place, well done Desco team!!!

Lovely cosy and homely establishment. Has a nice vibe and friendly staff. the more you go the more the staff get to know you. It's slightly expensive for food and some drinks but the food is lovely. Love this place and I keep going back so I've upgraded to 5 stars!

A firm (and very reliable) favourite
When the weather is glorious, sitting in the comfortable outdoor area on Shirley's high street is a joy. There a steady hum of traffic just far away enough to add a calming background noise (admittedly, interupted by kids hooning around in modified cars for sporadic periods).
Lounges offer comfort, convenience and quality. It was a 4 star experience, but when the staff member offered an ear and chat, it made my day and pushed this into the stratospheric 5 star realm.
