Lovely quaint little pub, staff were super friendly and helpful, lots of drinks to choose from and very accommodating for a large party with kids and dogs, food was a mixed bag across the table, some dishes were good and others could've been better. Menu's were on chalk boards so you can't tell they cycle the menu. I would go again.

My wife and I visited for dinner, last night. Great atmosphere, with the bar being full on a Friday night. Decent drinks selection. The restaurant is fantastic and the meal we had was the best. I can't rate the belly of pork and mash enough! Incredible!!! Fantastic service. If you are in the area, treat yourself! Great service, great food, great price. We will be back πŸ˜πŸ‘

We had two lovely meals here when we were on holiday locally. Excellent food and a warm welcome for you and your dog. Roast dinner was gorgeous. Will definitely come back again when we are in the area.

What a wonderful place, we ended up here after missing our turn and I am so glad we did. The place has a beautiful feel to it, the staff are really friendly and the food is amazing. We sat in the garden area as the weather was glorious. The beer selection is good and the food we had was great. The portions are really generous too. We had the scallops and prawn cocktail starters, followed by the steak, the BBQ ribs and a kids Scampi for mains. I can only say it was all lovelly and really well priced. I couldn't thank the staff anymore for making us so welcome, I mean we are paying customers and I get it but they really went above and beyond to make our experience good. Thanks Andrea and the next Welsh rugby star 🀞😜..

My sister and myself walked to this pub from Hive Beach, as soon as we stepped through the door we felt welcomed. We were met by the man at the bar who happily sorted out us having our food earlier and was attentive both with drinks and coming out to us for more information on the table. We both ordered a roast dinner, sitting in their beautiful garden area with plenty of seating, the vibe was lovely, even though it was an Easter Sunday you could tell the people their were a mixture of locals and tourist which is nice. Our food, as you can see from the pictures did not disappoint in size, but most importantly with flavour, the waitresses were again attentive, friendly and polite! I don't often give reviews but when you find a local spot like this, they deserve it :)

Stopped off here for lunch en route to for our holiday. Really fancied a ploughman's so was looking for somewhere in the area that did one. Lovely little pub, friendly lady behind the bar who gave our dog a treat which he enjoyed. Had a nice pint and the ploughman's was really tasty. Good quality cheese and plenty of it, warm bread and a lovely chutney. Was very filling and exactly what we were looking for. Glad we picked this pub for our lunch
