A lovely traditional village pub, serving excellent quality authentic Thai food.
The bar has a good selection of real ales, local lager and ciders.
As someone who really appreciates authentic Thai food, made with quality ingredients, I really enjoyed my lunch at the Black Horse Shipston.
There is also a nice garden at the rear to sit in and appreciate the warmer weather.
I will definitely be back.
We come up from east London to visit family on regular basis and this is what a proper pub is all about , friendly , good service good range of local beers .
Plus you have a bonus of straps on the ceiling so you don't fall over when you have had to many ππ superb little pub
My family and I had an amazing meal here tonight, celebrating my oldest son starting uni π₯³π₯³.
The food was so tasty and very well presented. The staff are very friendly too.
First time we visited this pub after it was recommended for its Thai menu. My husband really enjoyed the beer they had on tap, and the Thai food was great, we will go back soon! Nice pub garden too.

Great place for bike meet, nice bbq hot dogs and burgers, good cider.
Great little bar with great history. It's particularly lovely during the cold evenings when they have the fire going. Lovely atmosphere.
And to top it off they have a Thai restaurant and takeaway in house, which is also top notch.
Beautiful thatched roof pub. Full of locals and welcoming to newcomers nonetheless. Massive functional garden out the back which was great for the proms and pub and garden are dog friendly.
Best of all is the food. Wow. For a takeaway there's a bit of a premium but it's worth it. We ordered to death during covid and still love it. These guys rescued us from a huge disappointment at the weekend after our food failed yo arrive at another rsturant.
Whether you're a local or just in town for a visit, defo worth a visit!
Can say more than, after chosing this pub for a reunion, it was elevated to the top ten best ever pubs of all the guests. If you don't love this place, don't go to pubs...
