It's a shame really ...this place closing. It is a wetherspoons and you know what to expect. But this place has a good atmosphere. It is a very well run venue by young people who I think work hard. Very polite and engaging staff work here. I like it here and hope things work out really well for those who work here. Will be missed.....thank you to all who served me ....you've been very kind. Chris.

Me and my friends enjoyed ourselves at this pub, which has a lovely design from the windows and lights to the replica fireplace! The counter is also gloriously presented and I enjoyed a refreshing glass of lemonade, served by friendly staff. We sat in comfortable seating, residing at a clean table.

Me and my husband can't believe it's going to close on Sunday. We're is every one going to meet up and meet friends and family and have good food .and it's very cheap beer and food .people don't have the money to go to the other pubs with everything going up .your money goes so does the food and bills

I had a fantastic time here on Sunday, they had a fantastic range of cask ale to excite then the most weary of beer drinker. The place was clean and the service was with a smile. Everything I ordered arrived within a few minutes from the app. I hope to return again when in the area soon. Cheers!

Manager was great to smooth over a miss order. You see, there is no skinny beef burger on the menu, there is however, a skinny chicken burger, and chicken is what by better half always orders in burger form when we're out. She got beef, and wasn't pleased, but the manager was very good about the mix up and settled the grumbletonian situation with free drinks. All good and respect was had. Perhaps the young man taking orders will learn the spoons menu to a better effect for next time. Still love the place.

Good old spoons. Went with the in-laws for a quick lunch. Food was decent and service was quick. Four stars due to a couple of burnt bits but nothing major. Also no outside area which isn't as good in the nice weather (however limited problem in England).

I've visited many Wetherspoon pubs up and down the country. This one stands out from the rest, mainly down to the friendly, hardworking staff. One thing I've noticed in many of these pubs is tables are mainly never cleared for some time, or wiped down. Staff can also be quite unsmiley too. Never experienced any of this here. All tables cleared after eating. Staff always on ball and welcomed you with a friendly smile. Food was top notch too.

First class. Was just passing by on a wander around Shipley. Popped in for a quick bite. Noticed on the menu there was a meal deal. 2 meals for £7.69. I got Cottage Pie. The wife had Beef Chilli. Can't fault it. Very tasty and well presented. The place was well over 2/3 rds full and can see why now. We'll be back again soon. 10/10

Going to be a shame to see see it close on the 24th March "24. I have a lot of great memories from over the many years of it being open.

Can't go wrong at 'spoons. You know what you're getting-well priced beer, and fairly priced food. I knocked off a star because the pot boy took my beer away whilst I was away having a pee.....😄.
