A lovely cosy pub with friendly owners and delicious food. We came and grabbed a couple of Sunday lunches and the venison and they were fantastic - would recommend!

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit. Friendly welcoming staff and a good selection of ales. Sadly no Guinness but this was more than made up for by the excellent band performing in the garden. We didn’t eat but the food that was being served certainly looked delicious. Will visit again.
Friendly village pub with a wide selection of excellent wines, and several local lagers and beers on tap. The pub has a small restaurant attached with an interesting offering prepared from local produce.

Very cosy, welcoming country pub. Good, home-cooked food - including the desserts. Excellent steak, superb chips, brilliant battered fish. Ideal for a meal on a winter's evening! Open fire & well-kept ales.
Excellent Sunday Roast. Great atmosphere and staff are so on the ball. You won’t find a better value for money fresh Sunday Roast in the area. Not often in a pub that the locals all seem to be so welcoming and friendly a magic find.

Nice to find it open again. New landlady seems good ,with plenty of ideas & spirit, & certainly deserves a chance to make a go of this lovely old pub. Give it a look.
Lovely small country pub/restaurant. Run by nice friendly people. I just had a baguette but it was done well and very well presented. A good choice of beers too.
Stopped for lunch and had scampi chips salad and home made coleslaw. Lovely crispy chunky chips. Really delicious. Would definitely go there again.

Charming traditional Pub with a good selection of home cooked food. Just off the main Sudbury to Bury St Edmunds road nut well worth a visit.
A very pleasant overnight stop in a rural area. Warm welcome. Immaculate accommodation. Excellent breakfast - first class home produced sausages!
