It's a fabulous venue that serves top-notch food at reasonable prices and is family-friendly it has a nice bar area as well as a decent-sized function room. They also put on numerous events during the year. Well worth a visit

Just been for Sunday dinner, never been before it was well worth it and reasonably priced a lot better than other places I've been to we will definitely be back
Excellent venue, you can get nice and close to the stage. Meals and drinks are very reasonably priced. Would come here again.

Never ever have we had a bad meal at the Civic, massive portions always cooked to perfection and fabulous value for money. Friendly staff and great service every time.
Thank you for the lovely food and excellent service last night. Your staff are great, friendly and welcoming. We had a private dance by Richardson Dance and a big band.

Super value meals and generous portions, we haven't been disappointed yet ! Staff are all friendly and welcoming. Cosy lounge area for relaxing with drinks before or after meal.

Lovely clean place with a large dance floor area when you go to an event, had a number of meals here and can't fault the food nice friendly staff worth a visit.Drinks are a little expensive but you can't complain as the venue is worth a visit.

Recently refurbished, good furnishings and decor. Drinks reasonably priced. Meals are a bargain. We had Sunday lunch. £10.50 for three courses can't be bad. Not 5 star Michelin but never heard anyone complain. Will go again, probably during week when there is a more extensive menu.
