Just popped in as not local and was pleasantly surprised. They were dog friendly, ie: on a lead, perfect for us. Very warm and friendly welcome. Very assertive. Had a reserved table for Sunday Lunch. I opted for the roast beef with a cauliflower cheese side. Everything was cooked perfectly except the potatoes which were a little undercooked. Others in the party had scampi or burgers and enjoyed them. Service was good and the pub had a nice friendly atmosph
Good for football and casual drinks. Under cooked chips but overall good vibe.
Popped into this quaint pub for something to eat and we’re not disappointed. The meals were lovely.
Staff were polite and friendly and so were the locals.
It’s not an up market pub but worth a visit.

Deceptive space in the rear beer garden. Great to go as a group and to watch the football. Didn't have any food.
