Located out of town, you'll need transport to get there. Pleanty of room on the car park, Shifnal Cottage is a converted pub and very spacious inside. We were greeted by one of the waiters who was friendly and courteous.
The tables were clean with tablecloths.
The order came quickly and was excellent.
Mains are really nice, the naan was really nice.
I finished with a floater coffee.
Price was reasonable.

Been here several times and it has become our go to Indian restaurant. The food is consistently excellent and there is a very wide menu choice. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of seating to suit everyone, from a single visitor to a large group. The car park is big enough for even the busiest of evenings. The location is a little out of town but that means you don't get the drunks dropping out of the pub looking for a curry. If you haven't tried the Shifnal Cottage yet then I can thoroughly recommend it. Likewise, if you are a visitor to the area and don't know where to eat then it is well worth the short drive out of town. We have always just turned up and, so far, they have been able to seat us. That said, we have seen some busy evenings so it would do no harm to give them a call first. It's also very good value for money with pricing to suit most budgets. If you just want a simple meal for a reasonable price you will find it. If you want to push the boat out then will be plenty of choice on the menu to tempt you.
Had a really lovely evening tonight. Service first class as usual. Asked one of the waiters for a one off curry making up for us, we weren't disappointed either. Absolutely gorgeous. We loved the tandoori lamb sagwalla pathia. Thank you for making our evening so nice. Music very tasteful too, not blaring away like some places you go to. Very clean and modern place .
Visited on a Monday night as a group of 4. Expected it to be quite as it was a Monday but actually there were 5 tables taken and a good atmosphere. The waiter was excellent and knew catered for each table individually adjusting his ‘banter’ to suit - great guy. The food was excellent and appeared from the kitchen without too much delay. We’ll certainly retain to the excellent venue.
Looks OK from the outside but then the inside is really nice and spacious with a bar. The staff were very friendly and are quick to your needs. Really good food but not cheap or too expensive. Can get busy so suggest to book before turning up. Really liked the place and will be back again the near future.
First time visiting here, went for our wedding anniversary. On arrival staff very welcoming and pleasant. Ordered drinks and had plenty of time to choose what we wanted. A good menu selection.

Absolutely incredible, if you follow my reviews you'll know i like to keep my rating honest and solely based on the experience I had and this Indian restaurant ticks all the boxes, super friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you, one of the best menu ranges I think I've ever seen including some incredible vegetarian curry options and to top it off very fairly priced. We will definitely be eating here again.
Cracking restraint. That I have lived near for a few years but never got round to actually going to. Glad I now have as it was a very good meal with a lot of choice. More than I am used to. The staff are friendly and attentive without being too attentive. Due to the choices on offer I couldn't make up my mind. The staff helped by offering a double choice to try. Explaining what I liked and could eat they suggested a curry. It was really good and good to try new options. The staff couldn't help enough. Well worthy of a trip to enjoy a meal in a nice setting.

Excellent and very large menu with many, many choices. The food was delicious and served by really friendly, competent staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The manager is such a lovely chap, absolutely hilarious and very cheeky 🤣

Really liked this place. Friendy service. Good food and well presented. Definitely will go again. Had a takeaway on second occasion. Too much food to eat but good quality. Cobra beer cold and moreish. Try it now. Seems previous reviewer went just after it opened. Try it now bud. Recommended this establishment to my mate and he can't keep away.
