Lovely Sunday carvery proper meaty gravy great Yorkshire puddings plenty of choice allways being topped up. Very friendly staff could not do enough for you. It was our first vist in over 10 years as we live over 50 miles away. Will be back in the spring thanks guys for a friendly welcome keep up the good work.
Wonderful location, the food, the service and the atmosphere was lovely.
Highly recommend the puddings. Served with their in house made ice creams.
Dog friendly and trans safe.
Great home cooked food. Reasonable prices. Clearly not advertising enough (no website!). But don't miss out.
We went here because we had enjoyed it so much earlier in the week. On that visit, the food was really top class and the service by the 2 ladies was very friendly and welcoming.
This time though, we were a little disappointed.. the 2 lads serving were friendly and service was good but they did seem a bit stretched. The food was not what we had hoped...maybe we had high expectations..it was cooked to perfection but everything was ripped with balsamic glaze. The sauces were already a little too sweet and the glaze, being very sweet too just took it over the edge. On the chicken, a dose of salt brought down the sweetness to ensure it was enjoyable. The mushrooms, with the glaze, sweet brioche and sweet sauce (same base as the chicken) was like eating a desert (which I did eventually enjoy it as). The fish pie was well cooked but lacked something...not sure what..and the glaze on top didn't help.
But I will say that the kids food was great and they loved it. And earlier in the week, the lamb was exquisite ant the fish cooked to perfection.
Not all bad and does deserve a visit for sure..I would love to know whether the chef was different on Friday to the one on (I think) Monday.
Just had a lovely meal with my friend al,and went to pay, and had a nice sirprse only had to pay for the derest meal wich was nice.
The food is just too much and that's perfect for everyone! We got the homemade burger and for 8.50 the portion was just great! Undoubtedly recommend it, perfect for big groups or families. Unique atmosphere and great disco style music. Service is excellent as well.
We were returning from Wells-next-the-Sea and looked up good food pubs. The Dunstable Arms came up with great reviews of the food and service. We stopped off for dinner and we weren't disappointed but totally taken away with the the food, and the welcome from the staff.
I recommend this pub to anybody in that area.
Lovely meal, staff very friendly. Was busy when we went but staff kept us informed and we got our meal within the time stated. All food is home cooked and was definitely worth the wait. Games are behind the bar so we could keep the children entertained while waiting. Lovely atmosphere.
We would give ten stars if we could. Superb tasting food, great atmosphere and really friendly staff. We turned up without booking and despite them being very busy, they helped fit us in. Great customer service, and home cooked honest grub. What more could you want. Thank you.
On holiday in Cromer, fancied a carvery, had a look locally but couldn't really find anything! Had a quick search on Google, and this lovely place popped up! Called up and asked about it, the gent on the end of the phone was lovely and kind, booked us in and when we walked in, said hello and recognised my voice! Tooks drinks order instantly, they were brought back in moments and then gave us our carvery ticket. This carvery was amazing. The gravy was in it's own league! Beef was so tender I was able to mush it with my tongue, gammon the same. Oh my goodness, the veg was cooked to perfection. They hide it under foil to keep it moist and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely come back again if we're in the area!
Friendly atmosphere. While it was not too busy when we were were there (just out of season) it seemed quite popular. The food was of good quality and make sure you are hungry as we found the portions generous. The prices were reasonable and the service was OK. Only downside was the furniture in the large garden behind the pub was sparce and shabby.
Quick stop on way back to east Runton definitely a locals pub bit run down but friendly and dog friendly 👍
We went to the carvery. The food was great, a bit too much meat for me, I could have asked for less but I was distracted while it was served getting my toddlers veg.
A good selection of vegetables including carrots, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, etc mashed and roasted potato's also yorkshire puddings, stuffing and sausages the usual sauces including gravy and apple sauce.
The welcome was warm and the venue was a very traditional pub with lots of wood on show.
We sat in the restaurant there is also a main bar and a side pool table room.
Food is ordered at the bar and you take your ticket to the carvery and swap it for a plate.
Had a gorgeous meal at this pub today. Very well priced as it was buy one get one free! Lovely atmosphere in the pub, friendly staff and locals. Will definitely go back when we are in this area again 👍
The carvery was excellent and great value for money. The staff were very polite. 1 small issue with 1 dessert but it was dealt with. Would happily visit again.
Fantastic food - all home cooked. Regular menu offers a lot of choice and marvellous carvery Saturday & Sunday. Friendly staff and a warm welcome guaranteed.Highly recommended.
Very nice carvery and dessert for a very reasonable price
Wonderful carvery, lots of vegetable dishes and plenty of meat. Staff fab and very friendly. Thank you for such a warm welcome and nothing being too much trouble for any of you.
