Lovely place! This place has awesome atmosphere, hope I could get a seat inside but it was full. We got a table at balcony, still was great. Ordered plain, cheese, and fruit scones which were fantastic and chai tea. I could say this is the best scone I have had ever.

Delicious coffee and scones in a quaint space right in the heart of Shere. The staff were friendly and genuine. I took my two year old here. When the barista brought his babycino out he took a moment to have a laugh with him which was really special. The cheesy scone is a must.

I heard about this little gem through a friend and just had to take a trip. I love Shere anyway and we spend a great deal of time here so I’m not sure how I’ve not ever noticed this lovely little tea room!! But oh how I’m glad I found it. So warm, welcoming and friendly. The scones were absolutely divine! Such a tiny little place which makes you feel you’re special sitting there :) I will absolutely be coming back!!

What a beautiful vintage tea/coffee shop in the heart or Shere, got myself coconut milk cappuccino and fresh and hot sausage roll that was just a perfect snack before a long walk in the surrounding hills, next time will try for sure that famous carrot cake 😍

Oh my heavens, what a charming find! As a foreigner, we were seeking an authentic experience at an English tea shop. Hilly’s does not disappoint. The tiny space at the ordering counter is so distinct; the low doorway to the cozy indoor area so quaint. We ate the most perfect, most marvelous sultana scones of my imagination with gobs of clotted cream and flawless strawberry jam. I would gladly purchase a larger set of clothing to accommodate a holiday daily eating this delight. I hope you meet up with the son in law on the day of your visit. He is animated and quirky and a complete delight. I’m fully contented that I have met with the idyllic English tea and scone.

You can't fault this beautiful little nook of a coffee shop. Their baked goods are amazing and so is the coffee. If that's not enough, you'll be blown away by the customer service this family run outfit should pride itself on. 100% must stop shop in the picturesque village of Shere.

A warm & cosy little tea shop that makes you feel all fuzzy inside. I loved the selection of their creative and tasty cakes and attention to details. The staff were friendly and welcomed us with with great service. If you are looking to venture out for a nice walk in the area, due pop in first for a warm take away drink. They also welcome that you place an order and pick it up after you finish your walk.

Rang late to book a table and the staff bent over backwards to fit us in on the same day (we were a large group). We ordered food in the morning went for a walk and then came back. Delicious food and the staff were lovely in person too. Thank you so much
