This was the day of the Sherborne Pack Monday Fair. I was so pleased to get a table booked the evening before. I was not disappointed . We both selected the Hunter's Chicken which came quite quickly and was very tasty. The staff were helpful and polite.

Lovely beer. I ate there too. Chicken goujons to start were delicious. For mains I had the mixed grill. Thank heavens I didn't opt for the mega grill. It was huge and the rump was cooked to perfection. Well worth a visit. And they sell Banks's mild. I haven't had that for years.

great location, great comfortable accommodation, great food and an exceptional service! Craig really went above and beyond, a super worker and personality!! Not easy finding staff these days and especially one like this!! Extremely lucky to have him!! We will be back!
Great place. Food very reasonable and decent..staff very friendly and helpful. John went above and beyond to look after us and made a fuss of the kids which they loved. Would definitely recommend to families. Thanks for having us.
Me and my mum had an excellent time. We could see that the staff were rushed off their feet, everyone was served in good time and all staff had a great attitude. We will be back for more Thatchers Gold and Jagermiester.

We come to half moon a lot because it is our local, food is great, there's guy here who's called John he's crazy but he's brilliant and give you the best most funniest experience. Love it here
