The food was good, chips were not greasy and scampi was as expected. The service was good, with a clean environment despite having a few dogs in-house, there was no dog/ animal smell you'd usually associate with a place that allowed dogs. You won't notice them until you see them, so yes really clean

Fabulous breakfasts, great value with a variety of choices. Classic (below) £7.95. Good atmosphere, ample parking and large dog friendly garden.

Lovely pub. Staff are very friendly. The landlord is a very nice man, makes the pub a really nice place to be in. Half of the building is the pub and the other side is the restaurant. I believe his wife is Thai and the Thai food tastes amazing and very well presented.

I came to Sherborne for a funeral and the staff allowed me to change clothes after a long drive. Also had a great meal. I am so grateful. Thank you.

Blown away by the food yesterday. Even the kids meals were fantastic and only £4.95. This is absolutely not mediocre microwaved pub food and definitely beats most of the pub meals I've had in Sherborne, since Fee has taken over recently. Had a Sunday roast here at the Carpenters Arms today. Absolutely fantastic! 10/10. Daisy our server was extremely polite, friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, fabulous roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese and plenty of it. Superb 👍😁 Thank you.
