Last minute reservation, mid week as on holidays in the area. Food gorgeous. Carvery with 3 different choice of meat & plenty of vegetables. Staff very nice & accommodating. Able to bring our small dog which was an added bonus due to staying in holiday cottage. This pub was a little jewel.

We had lunch on Sunday and the meals were fantastic. Tasty sauces, tender meat and perfect vegetables, especially roast potatoes. We recommend the Rose and Crown for Sunday lunch and We will be back soon

Great secluded village location. Beautiful views from the spacious beer garden. Dogs on leads welcome. Had light mid week lunch. Menu slightly limited, but the Wadsworth beers excellent. Service quick & efficient. Prices reasonable.
We were just passing and found this lovely pub by chance, so we popped in for a spontaneous lunch. The food was fantastic, generous portion sizes cooked perfectly. We sat in the garden which was beautiful and peaceful with fantastic views of the countryside. Highly recommend a visit! 👌🏻
A little tricky to find, but The Rose and Crown is a hidden gem and most certainly worth the effort. It is very pretty inside and out, with a lovely garden to the rear and a spacious car park. The mid-week lunch menu would suit all tastes and pocket size! The service was warm, friendly and efficient
