We had an evening Sunday meal and it was beautiful. The food was delicious and freshly made, piping hot and served with a smile. The puddings were fab too. It was amazingly good value too. Definitely will be back and would highly recommend a visit.
Outstanding pub lunch. Really lovely food, excellent value. All six of us were delighted. Best burger I've had in a very long time, beer well kept, and just a lovely place with great service. Great traditional style quarry stone floored bar, and easy parking. Highly recommend it. None of us could un
Best Sunday lunch for miles. It truly is a real pub .. no cheap frills here. Proper chef an all. Super service.
Fabulous food. It was very busy when we went in, but they made sure we got a table, and it was the best we've had for a while. We were very grateful they didn't say they were fully booked and turned us away as others had. A lovely experience. We will definitely spend a night thi, and look forward to
Absolutely amazing. Food was incredible and bought out quickly even though busy. the service was attentive. First class will definitely be back.
Great location for the Newt. Freindly staff and OK rooms. Had a real buzz on a Wednesday night. Breakfast was very good.
Great pub, lovely staff. Nice and quite location with the quarterly church bell. Never stayed as I live local anyway but the rooms are nice.
Had a great dinner here while staying at the main hotel. Loved the aubergine dish and everyone was friendly to my dog.
Staff have become complacent since my last visit, service is sloppy and comes with an attitude. Pity. Used to be a lovely friendly pub. Still nice gardens and food but the bar service is poor... Forever changing my views here... Joe in the evenings is the best barman, promote him, he's a gem. Come i
We had the pleasure of having our winter wedding reception at The Manor House Inn in December and I can’t thank Sally and her team enough for the time and effort they put into preparing and hosting us on the day. Sally was so welcoming right from the start and was always happy to sit down and discus
Amazing room above a traditional pub. Great service and a really good breakfast at a brilliant price. We particularly liked waking up to the sound of the horses walking past. (About 7ish) The location is in a village approx a 10minute drive from Castle Cary and also from the A37.
Came in today with my family for Sunday lunch. Service was fantastic, polite friendly and attentive. Then the food came, outstanding. We had beef, chicken a nut roast. Quality ingredients. Everything was home made. We had a lovely chat with the landlady who was so welcoming. Fantastic food Fantas

Great value country pub to sleep the night and have a hearty breakfast. Thank you.
Huge fan of the Manor, feel so lucky it's basically our local! We love the pub quizzes on a Monday evening (8pm start), food is fantastic, and Sally is a legend. Kudos to the new chef who used her grandmother's recipe to create the best cannelloni I've ever had. A cosy traditional pub with bags of c
It was the chefs first day when we booked and I have to say the food is amazing and the place was lovely. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. I will be recommending this place and will most definitely eat there again when we are back.
Lovely village pub for lunch, with as expected olde interior which is very pleasant, sat in the table for two window. Staff were nice and friendly, though stretched only 2 front of house.. Beef burger was great, but partner had the Vegetarian burger which was like a processed frozen variety, was a b
