We had an evening Sunday meal and it was beautiful.
The food was delicious and freshly made, piping hot and served with a smile.
The puddings were fab too.
It was amazingly good value too. Definitely will be back and would highly recommend a visit.

Fabulous food. It was very busy when we went in, but they made sure we got a table, and it was the best we've had for a while. Had a great dinner here while staying at the main hotel. Loved the aubergine dish and everyone was friendly to my dog.
Staff have become complacent since my last visit, service is sloppy and comes with an attitude. Pity. Used to be a lovely friendly pub.

Amazing room above a traditional pub. Great service and a really good breakfast at a brilliant price.

The location is in a village approx a 10minute drive from Castle Cary and also from the A37.
Came in today with my family for Sunday lunch.
Service was fantastic, polite friendly and attentive. Then the food came, outstanding. We had beef, chicken a nut roast. Quality ingredients. Everything was home made.
We had a lovely chat with the landlady who was so welcoming.
