My little one dropped his plate just after being served. The staff were so friendly and helpful they put his mind at rest straight away and replaced his meal. Even the customers offered us to skip the queue to get him served again. Lovely atmosphere and very helpful staff. I couldn't even finish my meal and that says a lot. Highly recommended.

From hassle-free booking to ample parking and a warm welcome, Toby Carvery excels at every turn. Our reservation was a breeze, and finding parking was a breeze, setting the tone for a delightful evening. The staff's hospitality was impeccable; they swiftly seated us, ensuring a smooth start to our dining experience. As expected, the Carvery lived up to its reputation. Each plate was a symphony of flavors, perfectly portioned for our satisfaction. What truly stands out is their consistency. Having visited before, I can attest that the food's quality remains exceptional, a testament to their dedication. In essence, Toby Carvery offers a seamless blend of convenience, warmth, and exceptional cuisine. Kudos to the team for their unwavering commitment to excellence. We eagerly anticipate our next visit!

We booked ahead and they had the availability that we were looking for. Greeting staff were really friendly and happy with good energy and created a welcoming atmosphere. He checked for any dietary needs whilst seating us. Drinks were brought to us promptly. Price was fine, average price for a carvery. Grace was lovely, as were the staff behind the bar. Small dispute between staff serving carvery. Nothing major but wasn't really appropriate in front of guests. Carvery counter was dirty. Can understand why as it was a busy time but a quick wipe would have massively improved it.

Food was lovely. But I was very disappointed to find there was no Lamb on the Sunday we went and the cabbage had run out. The staff were great, friendly and very accommodating. Would recommend eating here.

Went for breakfast 9am on a Wednesday morning, the door was unlocked, and Sonia greeted us in a very warm, welcoming way. Ordered at the bar, was shown where to make our drinks and shown to our booked table. Drinks station wad well stocked and clean. The breakfast station was again well stocked and clean. Food tasted fresh and was a lovely place for a family catch-up! I'd say probably the best Toby Carvery in the area!

Carvery isn't what it used to be, less meat and less variety of vegetables. More chairs and tables have been added so when it's full it's a nightmare for anyone with mobility issues. I understand and appreciate the need to make money but shame the quality has slipped, a lot of independent pubs now offer cheaper and better quality carveries. It's a shame because Toby used to be the best. Staff still very hardworking...just a shame about their product. 😟

Our waitress Sasha was so welcoming and lovely. She helped us out with anything we needed and always had a huge smile on her face! It really made our day and she is a great asset to your team and I hope we have her as our waitress on our next visit

It's a really lovely place, once you go in and they seat you at your table and you order your drinks and then queue up and get your food.. and you pay just before you leave and if you need to separate your bill they are happy to do this for you. Very friendly staff..
