Wow!! Had my mum's birthday party here yesterday afternoon. It was great. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful afternoon. Lovely food,and lovely processo. Would recommend without a doubt.
Had a lovely Tapas experience on Friday 3/9/17. The food was freshly cooked and came out when ready :) lots of variety to choose from, tried things I'd never normally eat. Atmosphere was fantastic, busy night - nothing was to much for the staff mind. Staff very friendly and chatty, informative as was our first time at The Loft. Cocktails went down very well, even my mocktails where yummy and I will be back for cocktails :)

Not very adventurous with food or coffee. I stop here when out on the bicycle -about half way. Usually have the doorstop bacon sarnie - sometimes bacon, brie and cranberry, and a latte -not just a glass of warm brown milk. On a hot day sitting outside is like St. Tropez without the Ferraris. Like all others have said, staff are tops. Free wifi.

Just had afternoon tea at the loft for my baby shower! Food was great and so reasonably priced. Was great how we had the upstairs part to ourselves so could play games etc. Will certainly recommend afternoon tea to other friends and family. Honestly couldn't fault it. Thank you!!
Always have a fabulous time here, whether it is a lunch, evening drink or special birthday celebration. Staff are very friendly and the food is delicious!

Took my friends daughter for afternoon tea for her 12th birthday. Food was delicious and staff really helped make it special with a cupcake and candle, and chocolate writing. Lovely afternoon and totally recommended.
We are moving to Shefford this month and went to view the property before exchanging.
My daughter and I went into the Loft to grab some lunch. They are a friendly bunch, and the food is delicious, we sat outside and watched the world go by. Go grab something to eat or drink and enjoy the sunshine. We will be back when we move.

Nice little cafe with a nice menu. One of the waitresses didn't smile once the whole time which was a little sad.
The food was a good price and very nice.
I would definitely come back again.
Toliets could do with a good clean.
Amazing food, and even better service The staff are very welcoming. it was just a mid week morning and even though they were busy the food was served hot and timely. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning!
Lovely food. Can eat inside or outside, upstairs or downstairs. Ipen for Breakfast, Lunch 6 days a week. Open evenings Thursday Friday and Saturdays for tapas. Closed Sundays. Alcohol served here. Pleasant, friendly staff

Cake is so yummy and not too sweet. Tea proper copper brown colour and tasty. Staff very friendly and adapted to my needs without question. Aspergers... Hidden disability and they changed the way they served me to suit me, thanks
Arrived 15 minutes late for our booking due to parking but staff didn't make a fuss, seated us and just asked to order quickly to ensure the kitchen didn't get backed up.
Seated on the sofa upstairs which was a bit low for comfortable dining, more suited to snacks and drinks. Overall the tables and chairs set up was a little tight.
Tapas was great, good selection. This place is great for casual dining and sharing cocktails.
We love The Loft! Have visited lots since we moved to Shefford for coffee and tapas. My favourite dish ever are the tiger prawns which I 100% recommend.
They also gave a free cocktail for my birthday which is a lovely gesture. My Dad always asks to visit for tapas when he is visiting, lovely to sit outside in the summer aswell.
Nice tapas, wine is decent, cocktails a bit sweet but that’s just personal preference. Calamari used to be fresh now it appears frozen (uniform rings like you would buy frozen from a supermarket). Friendly, quick service. Really good chicken, mushrooms, quesadilla.
Either the coffee I was just served wasn't decaf, or this serves the greatest decaf oat macchiato I've ever had. WELL worth a visit.
It's also a hand half way stop on a loop from Bedford.
Perfect for coffee/tea and cake and to catch up with friends. Staff friendly and helpful and the food is excellent fresh and always tasty.

Received friendly greeting when visited for family get together for lunch. Most chose Breakfast which was well presented with rustic brown or white toasted bread, poached eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, hash browns, all delicious & hot. Unusually, in place of a cup of tea, some members shared a glass of potent red wine, given it was a xmas get together 😉 which went rather well. Some members carrying "precious cargo" stuck to a cup of tea 😊. Only small issue but ultimately important, one member was served crockery with lipstick from a previous customer. It was wiped using a sterile wipe & was raised with the assistant, who apologised & offered to change item. Several wines requested were out of stock, hardly surprising given this was just after xmas & we were offered a good substitute. Venue had a tempting selection of naughty cakes/puds; chose coffee & walnut cake, which didn't disappoint as was moist & made well, however cake did not include any walnuts - a walnut or 2 to decorate top of cake or chopped walnuts within the sponge was certainly missed. Had a pleasant time here so thank you to all staff who served us well.
The food is great the sandwiches are what you want them to be. The coffee is great and the cakes simply smash it!.
