Great spot for (Gluten Free) Bottomless brunch! Really rated the food and drinks here. Staff were really knowledgeable about gluten free options (seperate fryer for chips. Gluten free burger bun) and very generous with the "bottomless" drinks! 😊

Making up what is now a great bunch of bars and pubs at Banner Cross, The Dark Horse is definitely one of my favourites. Lovely lagers on draught and a decent choice if you’re a non beer drinker. Can get a little crampt when it’s busy but on a hot day you can sit outside. The loaded fries I had were out of this world… but beware they are massive! I will be looking forward to going back to The Dark Horse again soon.
Went to bottomless brunch at Dark Horse, amazing options and incredible Mocktails. It’s hard as someone who doesn’t drink to sometimes get decent, well thought out drinks that look and taste incredible and Dark Horse have gone above and beyond to cater to that. Nothing negative to say at ALL, the service was amazing, friendly and always keeping our drinks topped up, the venue itself is lovely and cosy. The food is incredible and all such a great deal! 10/10. Thoroughly impressed! Will be back time and time again! Thank you so much!

Very baby and children friendly. Our 1 year old is very comfortable on the high chairs that affix securely to tables. And the pints are always excellent.
Love this place. Perfect mix of cosey pub and up market wine bar. Has a great range of cocktails and beers too and the burgers by Slap and Pickle, made fresh on premises, are not to be missed.
First time eating here. The burgers are amazing. I found the staff really friendly and helpful as well with choosing drinks ordering service etc. will definitely be back soon.

Great pub. Excellent service from Adam. Good range of beer, cocktails and tasty bites. You can tell how good it is in that it has sparkling clean toilets. I used to bank there before it became a pub.
Adam particularly along with the rest of the team were brilliant accommodating us on a busy Friday night. Food was incredible as always and the cocktails/steins went down a little too well

Only had a drink here but lovely bar friendly staff and cheap drinks. My wine was very nice and alot cheaper than other bars.
I personally really liked it, my husband not so. He felt it was like a cafe, no soft furnishings to make it comfortable.

What a great pub / bar! The friendliest and kindest staff, lots of interesting drinks and cocktails, as well as the standard favourites. Excellent bar food. Clean and cosy decor and furniture. Warm and welcoming. Occasionally there are quizzes and even live events to join in with and get to make friends.
Although I'm a man, this place is very popular with women, which means it is a great pub where women can feel safe, welcomed, and treated with respect.
I can't recommend The Dark Horse highly enough. Try it and you'll see.
This is such a great place I don’t want anyone else to know about it. Lovely vibe, nice crowd, great staff, fab drinks selection and good value. You can’t ask for more from a local. Not had chance to try food yet as it is busy and you need to book. Next time….
