The fish is great and large. Batter can be hit and miss but overall very good. Lovely staff very hard working - all of them and are always helpful and friendly. Oh and it's clean, very clean unlike the meadowhead one which is a dump with tea swilling in the clean trays and food all over
Cheap and cheerful.. what more could you ask for.. staff are always nice.. prices have gone up slightly and menu is more limited. It was better when you could change the breakfast items.. but all in all we luv coming here for brekky
Had 2 full breakfasts with pot of tea for £10, couldn't fault it, everything was hot
Very good covid protection set up and with current discount very cheap. All stomachs full and enjoyed.
Have taken my 3 grandchildren for the past few weeks as they have no kitchen at home at the moment food is lovely the deals are good but the best recommendation is their great staff nothing is too much bother for them so for that reason alone they are worth the 5 stars
The cafe looks lovely after the refurb unfortunately the staff are still the same and walk past tables full of used plates and cups like they don't see them

Can recommend the fish and chips. Better than you get at some of the local pubs but 1/2 the price.
