Had a burger whilst at lane7 and was very impressed. You have to order at the bar in lane7 and they give you a buzzer. The food is reasonably priced I would say for a burger and chips. They have beef, chicken and vegan. I had a vegan burger and it tasted very good. Was happy with the food and I would get a burger there again
Great takeaway dinner at Fat Hippo. The cheese balls were massive, burgers tasty and loaded fries were so good!

So, it's ok. But at £13 per burger minimum, it's not the fantastic experience other reviews seemed to suggest.
The American burger was fine. Tasty, juicy, mustard and ketchup (that's weird, just pick one!), Decent size too. The fries were acceptable but somewhat underwhelming.
The Kiev chicken burger was huge, so big it had to be deconstructed to be eaten :)
The kids chicken nuggets went down well :)
The atmosphere in that industrial 'hangar' is trendy i realise but feels unfinished...
Staff was friendly enough but there is no table service...
So I think I can officially say this is the best burger you going to find at a bowling alley, period. Fat hippo offers great value for money with great burger combinations to suit anyways tastes and amazing portion sizes. Honestly I’d come to lane 7 just to grab one of the buggers from here. Also the dessert are naughty so definitely try one.
I have been waiting for such a long time for a Fat Hippo, and worth the wait, I had The Last Samur-theigh with dirty waffle fries, so good!
Messy but amazing!! Best burger I’ve had in a very long time and the dirty waffles are beautiful!

Edit: Came back for the cheese curds yet again. So confused about this place. You serve some of the best food, and have some cool looking games, but the music is so loud that i can't bear to spend any time in there. I'd love to play games with my gf, have a few drinks, or meet friends for pool or a sit-down meal, but the place just feels like a club. Why not just have the loud music in the sections that need it? Staff are amazing even though we had to pantomime what we wanted because of the club music.

I have ordered takeaway from this place tonight. Overall the burger was good but I guess it's not suitable for every taste. I have ordered the "Greate White Buffalo" burger and I liked everything apart from the chicken. The chicken was very oily and it was battered with the skin which was very fatty. On the other hand my partner tried it and said that it was very juicy and liked it apart from the soggy bits but I think that was because it was wrapped in foil cause it was a takeaway. The skinny fries were good and the bacon, cheese and sauces too. Very speedy delivery as well
Treated myself to a bit of chicken and stole some of my mates chips and both were absolutely great. The Smokey mayo was a taste sensation.
It was a Sunday evening so we weren't waiting long and easily found a table.
They do delivery so I'll definitely be up for a bit of that.
The best burger and fries around! More flavour and alot cheaper than Fiveguys.
Good food very messy. The setup is a little rough and ready but it all worked well and fits with the kind of food. Only disappointment was a couple of missing menu items but no big deal. Also real metal cutlery would be nice for those of us too messy to even attempt hands with those big burgers.
