I found this place by chance as I was visiting an art exhibition there, so stopped for a pint and to sit by the canal which was rather pleasant! Friendly people, seemed to have a good following with some local regulars present. A good spot for a summer evening drink and not to far from town. Easy to park the other side of the canal. Will visit here again and would like to explore the area a bit more!

Fabulous pub tucked away by the Victoria Quays. Great range of craft beers, ciders and lagers with covered outside seating. Holds live music events. The loos have slanted shelves which make you feel you're on a sinking boat, but fun and unique at the same time 😊. Friendly staff. Great place to stop for a pint or two!

Can't believe after living in Sheffield for 2.5 years yesterday was the first time I'd made it to the Dorothy Pax! A decent selection of beers and ciders, spirits too. Inside is fairly small and dark, but it's all part of the experience. Outside was a number of benches by a bit of the canal, which was lovely to sit at when the sun was shining down yesterday ☀️ Two decent sized toilets with sanitary items available for those who need - this always is such a good thing to do, and any establishment that does this gets very high marks in my book! There was excellent music being played, and they have various live music and other things going on. Will definitely be back soon!

Great venue for a party and nice outside space with an outside bar. Bar staff are very friendly and welcoming. It was a bit weird being asked to pay to get in just to go to the inside bar (they had cider) but once they'd given up asking it was a great night. The patrons were a lot of fun, I'll definitely be returning.

Pretty unique pub on the quayside in Victoria Quays. Lots of live music and a decent selection of local ales.

Beautiful little venue which we took over for our baby shower gathering. The staff were AMAZING and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you.❤️❤️

Excellent afternoon in lovely surroundings. Very impressive range of real ale and cider, served by a friendly and knowledgeable bar man (as in male, for fear of offending anyone). Will return. It is a pity that the Council are such Luddites and don't really promote the Canal Basin at all. As usual it is up to businesses to advertise and promote.

First visit to the canal basin. It was a lovely spring day to sit outside. The bar is in one of the arches and serves great Real ales and cider. I had the American Pale Ale by North Riding brewery. Excellent. Expect more bars and cafes to spring up in the area north east of the city centre.About 10 min walk from the main train station.
