A really lovely and well decorated space. The menu is super broad and extensive and the staff are really lovely. The vegetarian food was tasty but needed more flavour so I had to add salt (which I never do in restaurants). The desserts were to die for!!
Amazing quality food, in a really lovely setting.
We tried 4 different starters and main courses and they were all 10/10.
The local draught IPA was tasty, and the wine really complimented the rich tastes of the food.
Best meal ever we both chose the black charcoal ravioli stuffed with lobster was divine. We shared starters wild mushroom arancini and king prawns both were so tasty, washed down with rose wine. Can’t wait to return.
It has a nice open kitchen which is always a welcome touch during service.
The carpaccio starter was very generous in size as was the Aubergine pasta dish. They were well-rounded plates of food and of course, flavourful.
I would mark the Lemon Sole highly too, it had a beautiful taste and presentation but I felt it was somewhat incomplete and lacking an accompaniment. Just one or two sprigs of leek or samphire would have been perfecto!
Lovely restaurant, great wine. Food was a bit hit and miss, great pizza and fish, but starters were overpriced and described poorly on the menu. Desserts were nice, but pine nuts in tiramisu was not to my taste. Overall, we'd come back as it was a nice experience maybe just couple of wrong choices from the menu.
Beautiful restaurant and it smells so good when you walk in! So nicely decorated. Great they have a kids menu!! Photo is of the kids menu. Our pizzas were very nice. Service is fantastic.
But, probably no real fault to the restaurant, eating out is SO expensive. £17.50 for a chicken breast with sauce. Ouch. And the fries were called "Italian fries" for £4.50 and they're just takeaway fries. Nothing distinguishable about them. If someone else is paying the bill, this is a lovely restaurant and great setting. But I couldn't afford this myself.
we came here to celebrate and had a fantastic time!
i genuinely cannot remember the last time i’ve felt this much joy from food. calzone and culurgiones were delicious, linguine were refreshing, and cannolo put a nice sweet end to our little feast.
we left the place with a lifted mood, emotionally recharged, happy and full!
Best meal I've had in ages. Pizza was delicious. Affogato was divine. However, what really makes this place is the service. All staff were incredibly attentive, smiley, chatty and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I would highly recommend going here and trying for yourself. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the food and the pleasant experience provided. Service was also very speedy. A genuinely great restaurant.
Beginning with the food, it was mostly great, the seafood shared starter was plentiful and greatly seasoned sauces - though a dash of salt was needed for our pallets. The venison was amazing, fruity and rich, as you’d expect. However, the lobster ravioli was disappointing as the flavour was minimal and poor, so I’d avoid that for now and choose another. The rest of the meal was great, so only 1 issue there. The restaurant vibe felt very homely and friendly with a dash of class, just what you’d expect. The customer service was friendly and caring, with different people asking if things were okay. Overall, a great experience and would recommend visiting for a special occasion.
Hidden gem!
Pizza dough tastes freshly made. The seafood platter is tremendously huge. The cous-cous tastes a bit stale while seafood is not fresh. However, the Ragu shell-shaped pasta is amazing. So filled up and the cost is like no brainer(I am from London, sorry…)
It is worth of paying a specific visit.
My husband and I came here earlier in the week for our anniversary. The food was delicious, the cocktails were fab and the service was absolutely brilliant! Thank you, we’ll be back!
First time in Sheffield and we chose to eat tea at Domo after some great online restaurant reviews. The food was fantastic. My husband had the fillet steak, whilst my son had the oxtail filled pasta - I think tortellini, and I picked the Gambon and steak tartare from the starter menu. We also had the bread and pesto and ice cream and nonnas tart to finish. The flavours were beautifully put together. I thought I would try the tartare which came well balanced on a pine nut pesto/salsa verde base with parmesan crisps. I think the star of the show was the oxtail - the gravy was rich but without overwhelming the other flavours. Maddy, our main waitress was excellent. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return!
Such a beautiful restaurant! The food is incredible, the staff are always super friendly and overall it’s just a gorgeous experience. Great place for dates or even with work colleagues and friends. I loved the lobster ravioli!
Amazing food with a great selection / variety in the menu. Friendly staff. Loved our visit in the sun, we can’t wait to be back.
The atmosphere, lighting, decor is all magnificent. Soft lights, candles on tables and just faint music make for a very relaxed but refined aesthetic.
The servers are very friendly, and very attentive.
The food is honestly the best I've ever had. Portions are very decently sized. Everything was done to perfection. The oven baked bass was perfectly done, soft and amazingly well seasoned. Desserts were amazing. The roast potato side was huge, simple but satisfying.
Prices are steeper than a regular restaurant in Sheffield, but for the quality of food, the freshness of all the produce and the atmosphere in general, it is well worth it.
Celebrated my birthday here yesterday. What a brilliant place.
The food is amazing. Every meal we had was delicious. The portions are large too!
All the staff are so friendly and helpful.
We will definitely be going back- so much on the menu to try.
We had a VERY special family meal at this restaurant. Although it was my third time to have booked this restaurant if it was possible to surpass previous meals then this is what took place. Love the food, staff attentive and courteous would definitely recommend.
Really good food and excellent service. The cocktails are also very good. It is maybe on the slightly more expensive side but you could say it is just about worth it. My gourmet pizza was really good, although I'd have preferred the base to be crisper and not quite so doughy. My wife's steak was really good and cooked perfectly too.
The staff were fabulous, really friendly and polite. The issue for me is; I've been here for a cocktail previously (more than once!) but never for food, and the food has always looked amazing. I'd vowed to eat here and my expectations were high. Unfortunately, Domo didn't quite meet my expectations! So while the food was really good, it wasn't amazing. You could argue that for the price, "really good" isn't good enough. I'd still recommend a visit and I would probably give them another try.
