Out of all the Chinese takeaways in the Swallownest, Aston, Aughton area this is by far the best.
The food most importantly tastes very good, with generous portions. I would highly recommend the Chef's Speciality of Smoked Chicken. It is by far the best food I have ever gotten from any Chinese and after trying it I can't help but get it every time I order. After introducing it to my family, they also absolutely love it. This hidden gem on the menu is an absolute MUST.
The cost is around average for all takeaways in the area.

Lastly if you fancy a delivery rather than pick-up then your in luck as if you live within 2 miles you can get it delivered. This is a £1 fee, however if you spend over £18 you're delivery is FREE.

We used to go to a different Chinese for many years but we've found the food to be really nice and although it's slightly more expensive than we used to go to, it's not as salty as the other one and as such, more enjoyable overall. :)
Had a lovely meal tonight. Salt & chilli chips were basic but tasty and my son loved the same chicken wings. The beef chow mein was gorgeous and a big portion too. Delivery was early and food piping hot. Will definitely use them again
Fantastic Chinese. Ordered the large salt n pepper box which was full of meat and tasted amazing. Portion sizes were huge and great value for money. Also ordered salt n pepper tofu which was crispy and then soft in the middle and full of flavour. Delivery was with in 20 mins of order, very cheap and delivery driver was lovely. Will be our go to Chinese in the future.

Lived in area over 30 years and never tried this takeaway, usually use Peking but it has gone really downhill so tried 'Happy house' and am really Happy !!
We had 3 different meals and chips and it is by far the best Chinese food I have had for years ! All the dishes were delicious and the chips were by far the best, also did not expect the 2 'free' taster meals included plus prawn crackers.
The food was really well cooked and authentic with plenty of meat and prawns. Really good value for money and generous portions !

Ordered for first time tonight, best Chinese I've had in a longgggg time, please look at adding shredded smoked chicken to you menu it's my favourite 😉
