Popped in for a cuppa and also got a light bite. The cross cut fries with pulled pork were to die for. The portion size was plenty for my husband and I to comfortably share. Ordering was easy for a dinosaur like me to use qr code lol. The only gripe is it feels so barren and cold with no visible staff about until they bring your order.

Was wanting a single malt whisky. They had probably 15 or more to choose from. Clearly priced. Went through self service and assistant quickly removed security tags and age verification. Nice quick shop . Had a bacon sandwich and cup of tea in their café . Didn't want to order on screen as I like crispy bacon. No problem ordering at the counter and came really quickly

Huge store with a big range of produce and goods. Only downside was the staff weren't very helpful. I asked three members of staff where I could find Sundried tomatoes, either they couldn't be bothered to tell me or they didn't have a clue where they were.

One of the largest supermarkets in the city. This Morrisons is accessible by bus and tram as well as possessing a very large customer car park. Built in part of the old Hillsborough Barracks, the interior is light and spacious. There are several interesting deli counters as well as a cafe, garden centre and key cutter.

PLANTS - FLOWERS - TREES Now then, a supermarket may not be the first place you think of for any of the above but don't miss this trick. Morrison's is a good supermarket for the usual things but as a place to buy plants and flowers on a budget it is unbeatable. The truth is it is difficult for a supermarket to really look after live plants and we all know cut flowers have a short shelf life. This results in fantastic discounts. Look out for plants that are on their 'last legs', 10p, 20p 3 for £1 etc. Surprise, surprise, plant them and let nature and nurture do the rest. Nearly all the plants recover, grow and look fantastic in a short while. Exotics, trees, statement plants are all there for the taking if you keep popping in. Make your neighbours envious of your planting for a fraction of the usual costs. If you want cut flowers search through the discounted buckets first. Keep an eye for the heavily discounted bunches. Any house looks good with vases full of fresh flowers and even when sold on the sell buy dates the bouquets will still last ages. The staff on the plant section are always willing to help with advice. Even when you are spending relatively little there's no judgment and you will receive as much help as the next customer. For the bigger statement plants you may need to hold your nerve but usually one or two of each plant will end up half price; if not, there's always next year.
