I visited here at this pub early this morning and I ordered the ‘smashed avocado muffin’ iv never order a muffin before but I thought I’d try something new and may I just say that it was one of the best things iv ever had in a while the guacamole was fresh and the porch egg complimented the dish ver
What can you say! A pub with its very own tram stop ! Marvellous, and very nicely run, staff were pleasant and interior very clean and interesting having been a swimming pool previously ! Had very nice curry, although our poor Queen died whilst we were eating it ! Had 2 visits whilst up there and b
Didn’t have food but I did enjoy my visit especially the Guinness.
Me and my friend had a relaxing experience drinking at this pub, which is lit up by glorious chandeliers! The bar has a well-organized layout of the drinks and glasses, accompanied by Easter decorations that were a nice addition, notably the chicks. Using a pitcher to share our cocktail at a table w
Come in here most weeks to meet my friend, food is always good and a great selection of drinks... Added bonus is the prices We love it 😀
It's a fabulous Wetherspoons, in a historical old building. Spacious and welcoming, clean and well run. The food was good. On top of all that... It's actually on the tram stop platform, so you can get home without getting wet!
Very quiet on the Friday evening I visited (24/9/21). I had a beer and chicken wings. Wings cooked properly and the usual good quality sauce. Beer was fine.
Nice spoons, loos on ground floor yaya. Good food and beer selection. Friendly staff.
Clean well organised venue, Due to the building being an old swimming pool there is masses of space, toilet's are very clean again with loads of space and very modern. The only drawback is there's no car park on site and due to being in a busy shopping area this can be a problem.
Busy considering we got there around 3.30 with all tables fullish. Poor selection of ales at decent %. Prices as ever good. Food, I ordered a chicken burger. Its clearly a frozen piece that needs some hydration as it was tougher than Ghandis leather sandals. Also, is there a chip shortage? C'mon! ..
Typical wetherspoon, went on a match day when Sheffield Wednesday were playing, very busy but the staff coped brilliantly, breakfast served pretty promptly and a good atmosphere
Typical Spoons in a lovely building. Had a good pint of Branscombe brewery Summa This from one of the regular beer festivals. The locals formed a queueing system and service was efficient. Great value as ever.
Lively place service at bar not so good never seem 2have enough staff on + no idea who 2serve next Good meal deals but food average for 'fast food' service
Amazing staff. Easy getting in. The out door area is amazing. Family friendly. We didn't eat this time but I have eaten here before and it's amazing. And looking at the food being brought out last night it looks and smells as good as ever. Also a cracking pint 🍻
A good range of cheap beer but interior looking a bit tired. Tram stop right outside and bus station across the street. August 2023, no change. Interesting, historic building.
