Stumbled across this pub while in the area, and what a little hidden gem! Dog friendly (massive tick), a warm welcome from the staff upon entry and excellent service. The food is menu is enough to please most and very fairly priced! Good quality meals as well. Definitely recommended to anyone wantin
No food currently. Good music. Very quiet. New people in . Hopefully it gets busier. Choice of ales. Friendly.
Just a very good pub....well kept beers, dog friendly with a cosy atmosphere. Spend a day out walking the Rivelin routes and finish off here. Friendly bar staff good parking. Nice pub. GL aka GS
We went here just before our walk. We was made really welcome. Relaxed atmosphere and the food was great with freshly made beer batter.
This place is amazing, proper pub food and not a single frozen chip to be seen. All food is homemade, and tastes” just like mother used to make β€œ. A friendly warm welcome awaits and prices that still leaves you with enough to get the bus home.
Not been in for quite some time and a after a walk down Rivelin called in for a couple... The bloke behind the bar was a right laugh.... πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
The peroxide blonde bar lady is one of the nicest people I've ever met
Really nice pub. clean, Welcoming and Friendly. The man working there was really talkative and friendly. Even gave our dogs some mini chedders. Nice environment. Nice drinks. Dog friendly. Not over priced. I will definitely be going again 😊
Absolutely lovely. Great home made Sunday Lunch with beautifully made Yorkshire Puddings. Great choice of desert. All at a very nice price. Lovely friendly staff. Very nice decor in beautiful surroundings. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon.
Lovely pub in rivelin. Decent pint of stones but could do with a proper cider on instead of strongbow what has never seen an apple
Excellent will visit again

Lovely pub. They must have had a busy Saturday as not much beer left. But will be back.
Proper locals' pub and I don't mean that in a bad way. Good beer, cheerful service and it was lively when we popped in Sunday afternoon. Very cheap too. Almost like pubs used to be!
Had a tasty sunday carvery, which was good value for money. Not busy at all either, so easy to get food served quickly :) They had two ales on draft (Farmers Blonde and Spitfire), both of which are good I would say, as well as more mainstream beers.
Stopped for a quick drink halfway through our walk and was a great choice. Friendly service, nice outside seating area and the food smelled amazing
A few of us had some drinks to commemorate the one year passing of my father Fred Baker, ( who lived on Hollins Lane & always went for a meal on Tuesday dinnertimes ), on July 8th, 2021, it was a good afternoon & made better by the lovely, friendly staff. Again on the 31st of July, 2021, the day of
