Absolutely amazing. One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. Food was delicious. Lady waitress was lovely, friendly and very attentive. Really nice atmosphere and ambience. Highly recommend!! You won't regret it. Will be back.
We've walked by this place so many times and it was actually one of the best restaurants we've visited recently.
We booked ahead, just in case. Staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to recommendations of dishes.
The restaurant wasn't busy at all for a Saturday, but it was early evening.
We enjoyed a couple of bottles of King Cobra with our meal, the first time I've seen this. It packs a punch!
We left the 10% service charge on our bill, as we really enjoyed it and the service Christy provided.
Best Indian food I've had in a long time the flavours were on point and they were bold with the heat. It didn't feel very oily either. They were also very accommodating when we walked in quite late for a meal 10 mins before the kitchen closed. Thank you for being so hospitable.
Really good experience. The staff is gracious and kind. We visited with an infant, they were really accommodating and helped us enjoy the dinner.
The food itself was really good. Authentic Indian taste and I can vouch for that. If you're dining in I highly recommend their meat and veg BBQ platter, it's served with mint chutney, the star of that show is the BBQ cauliflower. I lack the words to explain the taste. The chef was kind enough to meet us at the end and we thanked him personally.
The view from the restaurant is beautiful, right in the heart of sheffield city center. 10/10 from me and I will definetely be visiting again.
Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. I'm not very well versed in Indian cuisine, so the waiter was very helpful in helping me choose. In fact I had him choose for me. I ate there twice in a weeks time. I should have more. Very VERY nice waiter. I forget his name, but thank you from the American tattoo guy. See you again next year.
Update Edit: So I took my own advice from my previous review ^^above and ate there a 3rd time this week. Again, the best Indian food I've had. Met the owner this time. Such friendly people that are so eager to serve you. This place is Sheffields best kept secret. I cannot recommend them enough. I'd give a 10 star rating if I could. One tip to customers....order rice with your meal so you won't waste any of their delicious curry. Thank you again my friend. Health, wealth and happiness to you. Until next year....thank you.
The tattooed American.
First the good. Taste wise the food is amazing, very little ghee which I hate as it's often overused., flavours sublime. The guy serving us was completely overwhelmed because he was serving, I counted 18 diners. Doing drinks, serving food, taking orders clearing tables all by himself which was quite frankly ridiculous with that many customers, I felt sorry for him and it was to the detriment of the overall experience. Which was a shame. The other thing I just didn't understand was our main had six huge king prawns, very generous and absolutely delicious. But a naan bread cost £6 and was just three tiny slices nowhere near enough for two of us like we were told. Which resulted in us ;eaving lots of sauce that we'd have moped up with more naan. Just seemed odd to be stingy with flour but generous with expensive king prawns. Would I recommend this restaurant. Absolutely but please get someone to help this poor guy. We had a table next to us that was uncleared when we arrived and still uncleared when we left. More staff would provide a service reflective of the fine dining experience it could be
Starting from the service to interior and the food everything was too good. We being from restaurant and hotel industry know what’s frozen and whats fresh. I am really thankful to the entire team of 400 degree for serving is a fresh food from starters to mains and desserts everything is home and hand made. Must order Lacha paratha if you have a kid its soft and buttery.
Clean, pleasant space to eat. Large tables and small tables, or looks well set up!
I will return and try more of the menu.
Ordered Takeaway, Chicken Dum Biryani was Ok, Murgh Khada Masala was nice with more touch of ginger and a good portion. Took a bit of time to prepare, but they complimented with a pack of Jamun as a good gesture. Looking forward to try other dishes.
I'd been walking past this place for a while and kept wanting to try it.
I wasn't disappointed. The food was really tasty and we didn't have to wait too long for it either.
Definitely worth a visit if you like Indian food.
