The shop offers a good selection of various types of furniture. It's great to have a place in the city that offers an opportunity to browse the showroom., especially bearing in mind that we no longer have a department store.
Overall a good experience. Hopefully coming back!

A number of items not available at early afternoon Sunday
Staff were very helpful,polite and friendly. I went to purchase a sofa bed and the assistant pointed out the pros and cons regarding this and was more interested in me making the right decision as to whether I was making the right choice to suit my needs and not just trying to make a sale. I will be returning to make a purchase in the near future.
I have purchased from this store several times in the last 4 years. The service is always first class from shop to delivery. Today I had a delivery which proved difficult for the two men. Size of furniture, angles etc. They were patient and persistent eventually getting a two seater sofa to the place that I wanted. They were great ambassadors to the business. Quite a hidden gem. It's a huge maze of a place - you'll need a couple of hours to see everything in both buildings. We were helped to buy our sofa by Caroline who was a joy to deal with. She was knowledgeable, friendly and understood our requirements. We picked 3 candidates, went home to measure up and returned the following day to purchase. So much better to see the furniture in person to gauge the size and colours and comfort. Wonderful customer service.

Wow! What a place this is! I called here on a Saturday as I was looking for a new dining table and chairs. To say I was spoilt for choice is an understatement! The range of furniture on display here is simply incredible.
As one might expect, some of the furniture is pricey - very pricey! 10k for a dining table anyone?! This aside, there are also selections available for more modestly sized budgets, and it was actually quite fun guessing the price of some items and being surprised when they weren't as expensive as you thought they might be.
There's no pushy sales tactics here either. Staff are available and on-hand if you want them, but other than that, you're left alone. This is something I appreciate as I can't think of anything worse than walking into a shop and being set upon by an eager salesperson.
It's nice to find an independent furniture store that is able to offer such a wide range of products on display. This is something you don't see much of these days and I always feel it's important to keep places like this alive.
If you're on the lookout for a piece of new furniture, or even just a decorative item like a lamp, ornament or mirror, be sure to call in here. You won't regret it. Just make sure you give yourself enough time because it's easy to get lost!

Ponsfords have always been fantastic when we've ordered furniture from them over the last few years.
The customer service, choice and quality of the furniture is the reason we keep going back time and again.
We've never had carpets from there until this year when we moved house.
We chose the same carpet through the whole of the upstairs and the stairs themselves.
Because we were having the stairs & landing decorated we had to delay the fitting until today. However Ponsfords ordered the carpet all together (so we had the same batch), fitted all the bedrooms in July then came back today (4 months later) and fitted the stairs & landing.
The fitters were not only fantastic at their job but they were so considerate and a pleasure to have in our home.
They left all areas spotless, removed all waste & I haven't even had to vacuum!

Invited to help find a corner sofa for a family room I went for the first time in over 30 years. Such a fantastic choice of really beautiful sofas. Prices on the high side (although currently there's a sale) but you could see that they were real quality and would last many many years. Plenty of styles from modern to more traditional and many shown in room style settings. Great selection of fabric swatches and choice of style feet from wood to brushed stainless. We chose a sofa and was able to choose the correct size modules to fit the room space using a magnetic planner. Lots of beautiful dining tables, units, wall art and ornaments too. There is even a cafe to have a cuppa and piece of cake whilst you decide. Ample on site parking. My only problem is I saw the perfect sofa for me, best start saving!
