Such an incredible night there. Brilliant music. Owner is an amazing host. Food was superb and amazing atmosphere. 5 stars is not enough. The Royal Standard is the home of top music and fantastic nights out.

Great day and night out and needed some food. we ordered a pizza it wasn't fully cooked. Did us another one which was Perfect this time. But did it with a with a full refund, fantastic hospitality. We Said we didn't want a free one but they insisted. So we will be back again. V
Been here a few times for different bits (mainly performances) and their pork sandwiches are pretty decent.
Parking can be a bit weird with the tight bend to get in but there's usually some spots available so it's not too bad!
Cool live music venue!! A range of beers and drinks a cool jaeger machine... the venue offers a regular range of all types of live music, probably something for everyone... it's worth checking their websites/ fb pages for line ups.
A bit musty smelling, needs a deep clean. Decent beers though and dart board.
Nice place with great afrobeat and dancehall music 👌🏾
