Warm & friendly service at the Abbey Frier, good portion sizes and lovely food.
We went as a birthday treat, I haven't been there for years, but the standards remain very high. The person who served us was extremely friendly and warm, we were made to feel like regular customers. 5* service without a doubt!
The food was excellent, really tasty cod and chips. We would definitely return and recommend to friends.

They cook all fish to order which ensures you get it freshly cooked and it hasn’t been waiting around for ages.
They specialise in delicious chunks cod steaks in crispy batter.
Andrew and his team are always great you can even phone them up so you don’t have to wait

All the food is good and the portions of fish are massive too massive and massively expensive. There's all ways a wait so make sure you get your order in as soon as you get in the shop, don't get to the front and then order something they have to cook. The menus good staff friendly but get someone else to pay
What a brilliant meal deal,the fish was outstanding and also the rest of the meal,good value for money and tasted superb, the lady behind the counter was so nice,and also my 86 year old father really enjoyed it.(GREAT JOB)
