With the range of choice spanning the area, sometimes it is hard to choose where to eat. Fortunately I have experienced these culinary delights! The taste of fresh, homemade food really stands out in these dishes. A good menu selection that is not let down by the care and quality that is prevalent. Meat in abundance throughout the main dish with complimenting sides. The service is relaxed and welcoming and the prices even more so! Customers coming and going throughout a week night is certainly encouraging. Will be back.
The food was beautiful but be prepared to come out of here totally stuffed. Reasonably priced and the staff were very nice and helpful. Overall worth a visit.

food was absolutely amazing & staff were welcoming. scrolling through the reviews, I seen a mention of the owners personal life, like why does that concern you? Owner was really friendly and my kids loved him! Definitely coming again
Great service. We have eaten here several times and their traditional Tawa dish is great value and really tasty. One day we popped in and ordered a takeaway for 3 people. The chap delivered it to my house on one of the stainless steel plates they use in the restaurant. The food tasted and looked just like we were in the restaurant.
Visited the Restaurant late on a Friday evening - what a great choice it was. Was welcomed by the really polite and friendly waiter, who went out if his way to make room for us. The decor is nice and clean. We got a tawa for the two of us - all of the items on the tawa were tasty - though the biryani was exceptionally good. The bill was extremely modest so also excellent value for money. Well worth a visit.
Food is amazing, taste is so so good that I started getting takeaways even on the days I have cooked food at home! When I asked for lamb biryani, they especially made it for me even though they don't have it on the menu. You have to try that lamb biryani - it's really that good! And finally the staff is really friendly and always welcome you with a big smile.

Went here 08/10/19 . Reopened the day before. We were warmly greeted by the staff. There were 5 of us expecting the buffet but they no longer do this .The staff kindly explained the menu as being English some of us did not know what certain dishes were on the menu.
We opted for the set meal for 2 at £24 and Wow we hadn’t seen anything like it. They also do a vegetarian set meal or a meat set meal which is a couple if pounds more.
We had the usual popadoms and pickle tray for starters, but they had all other kinds of dishes on the menu.
They don’t serve alcohol as expected but do soft drinks or water.
Twi large serving plates arrived with 3 types of curry, rice, chips , grilled chicken , fish ,naan type bread, other meat and a few veggies tucked in on each. The chickpea curry was a new one for us but we all enjoyed it. You also got a large plate of salad with each meal.
Far too much for 2 people but we ate as much as we could and was offered a take home bag.
Absolute value for money and we all said we would go again.

My partner and I came wandering down Abbeydale and London Road looking for somewhere we'd never tried before, and ended up here. We're so glad we found this place. Intimate, welcoming, and warm, with wonderful authentically cooked food and lovely staff. There's no alcohol on the premises, so you're aware, but in the end we were glad for nothing to blur the experience. A highly recommended little gem.
The tawa is excellent. They do not sell alcohol but don't let this put you off. The food is fantastic although it has the potential to be very spicy so make sure you tell them if you prefer it mild.
Lovely atmosphere. This place is very old school and offers a very authentic desi feel. Customer service was brilliant- the owner himself was welcoming and friendly. Nice range of traditional types of curry.
Amazing restaurant with amazing food and even better customer service. Really enjoyed being there and had an amazing time with my family. The vibes are really nice in the restaurant as well. The workers put full passion in to what they do. Really recommend it.
Best curry I've had for years. Full of flavour and a friendly atmosphere and service. It was too hot for some I'd guess but the spices were amazing. I'd recommend it without hesitation
