Really nice comfy pub with very friendly and helpful welcoming staff. Nice selection of pub food on offer. The chips and curry sauce pub snack was delicious, and my friend enjoyed the hunters chicken sandwich. Very welcoming to dogs as well.
Good food and even better prices! A cosy atmosphere where dogs are very welcome. It was very charming with all the Christmas decorations! We will come back!
The first time we have been here and found it to be a lovely cosy pub. There is a large car park, and I noticed there was a bus stop just outside on the main road. We had to wait a long time for our meal this time. Its usually better. Not enough staff.
The eggs were hard on 3 of our meals. We would have preferred a softer egg yolk to dip into. Julie our waiter was apologetic and kind.
Had our first visit with our pooch today, the staff were really welcoming especially to our dog who got loads of treats and sausages. The food was really good,reasonably priced and we'll definitely be back. Thanks to everybody who was there today who made our first visit so enjoyable.

Popped in for a bite last night with my husband our grandson and his girlfriend. First time at this pub.
Good food! Chicken wings and Nachos were lovely. Followed by beef lasagne, steak and ale pie and chips, beef burger and chips and chip shop platter. Yummy!
Sadly too full up to eat a sweet.
