I got two pints of Punk for 6quid during happy hour. You really can't complain about that! Therefore a good place for a cheap pint before a gig at the Uni. Can't review the accommodation as we just went for a pint

Been in several times since reopening post lockdown. Much improved atmosphere since reverting back to a live music venue rather than being dominated by sports. Staff were super friendly and accommodating and prices very competitive. No longer serves food but welcomes you to bring your own or order takeout which I took advantage of both during a visit with adults and a visit with my two children on another occasion. Cutlery, serviettes and condiments were provided and staff happily cleared away our rubbish afterwards. I shall definitely be returning!

Room not large with a window that opens hard. Room neat and clean, good conditions. Pretty small bathroom. Good contact with the owner of the facility. Kindest and helpful staff at the reception.
There is a bar downstairs so sometimes loud abut you can spend the evening with a great atmosphere. I recommend

Love the Harley, came in for a drink last week and the atmosphere was so chill and the staff were sooo friendly, especially izzy!! Been to a few events too n they always put on a sick night <33 great place for a spot of pool too.
On arrival, we were handed our keys and were told that the bar area might be noisy 'until 4am'. Shrugging this off, we dropped our bags off in our rooms - dated, minimalist, but clean and with an en suite bathroom. For the price you really can't quibble with that. We enjoyed a quiet pint and burger (recommended) before heading out. We arrived back at 2am to one of the loudest Grime nights I have ever experienced in my life, still absolutely in full flow, and promptly abandoned sleeping in favour of cheap cocktails.
If not sleeping until 4.30am due to apocalyptic partying sounds good to you, I can promise it's exactly as good as it sounds. If it doesn't, you were warned!
Really great place! Good options for beers and nice staff! Additionally, they have shows of local bands, creating an intimate atmosphere, really nice! =)

Decent bar/pub, big improvement on the sports bar vibe it had previously. Nice to see them getting good live music and local bands back on
Clean, very cumfy bed, good location, friendly staff. Delish food in the pub downstairs inc 20% discount! Cheap hotel, get what you pay for! Have music on dowstairs at night, but not really a problem as get free entry to all events anyway. Would recommend for a cheap place in center definitely.
Great music venue when an event is on. Had such a great time. Team are so lovely, absolutely recommend coming here!
