Under new management from the end of May-2022, this pub is steeped in history, of coaches and horses. Well worth reading up on that, as this place would have been the local stop for the Ranmoor gentry back in the day. The poor would have walked before the trams came through this way on the way to Fu
Just done up and looks nice after it's refurb. Beer was well kept and they had gluten-free beer on tap. Personally I prefer a quiet pub to one with loud music, but understand we aren't all alike. I'll probably only use it on quiet nights.
Very good real pub, great ales and a very good atmosphere, staff really friendly.
Attend regularly for quiz. Since the renovation has been much more popular and comfortable. Good selection of drinks. Friendly management and staff.
The new landlady/ landlord are keeping a great range of beers and are very welcoming.
Good to see the pub busy again.

I was born 200 yards fron the Ranmoor Inn and over the decades, it has been looked after by a sucession of very good landlords and landladies. The present management is no exception. A great old pub with choice well kept beer.
A lovely pub, with a good beer selection. They are dog friendly too which is always a massive bonus when you need to walk the dog and want to stop off for a beer!
