Had several meals here recently and have found out that there is a new chef! Breakfasts are hearty and filling, fish & chips are to die for, homemade pies and quiches are delicious. There is always a hearty soup on the menu and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Good choice of food and drinks plus there’s also the opportunity for a tipple. Definitely worth a visit as now the cafe is both upstairs and downstairs, with outside seating for doggie walkers/smokers!

Had the best fish fingers sandwich here today, 3 beer battered fish fingers on a granary roll, it was gorgeous

Delicious food, fantastic staff and great for kids. Matt works extremely hard to welcome me,my friends and our spirited toddlers to the cafe. The coffee is really really good as is the cake and the menu offers a good choice of quality tasty food at a reasonable price. The new kids menu is a welcome new addition and our small people love the climbing frame and garden all year round. Keep up the good work!

Every time I am leaving Low Bradfiekd I like to have my breki here. Big mushroom, soft black pud and lovely fat sausages. A spot on shop downstairs with locally produced goodies

Excellent place for brunch & lunch. The specials board is well worth a read - we had the steak and ale pie from it. The sandwiches and eggs Benedict looked very nice and portions are generous.

The perfect bike stop. Plenty of space to store bikes around the back. Outdoor seating, front and back, as well as indoor. I just had coffee and cake but the menu looked excellent.

We booked a party of 20 in for afternoon tea, in celebration of a 70th birthday. We were given our own private area without asking. The afternoon tea was plentiful and delicious. The staff were very attentive. We couldn't have wished for a more positive experience. It was fabulous!

Had a lovely lunch here - food was great, good portion, and service was quick. Although it didn't apply to us today, it's cycle and dog friendly! Lovely walk round Dam Flask after to try and work off some calories.

5 stars isn't even enough for how good this place is . The staff was brilliant the food amazing and a good price too. The building and decor are very well done and it's probably one of the nicest places I've been. Will definitely be going back.

Being a retired biker I get to visit plenty of cafe,s and The Schoolrooms has quickly become a regular stop off point when visiting The Peak District. We called in yesterday and as always staff are really pleasant and accomodating my fellow biker had salted caramel cake and described it as"delicious" my Latte as always perfect. Prices are no more expensive than any other cafe we visit. All in all a lovely place look forward to calling again soon.

Stopped for lunch, great location lovely scenery all around. We had a coffee, Glazed Ham Sandwich and Halloumi Salad which was amazing. Even though it was lunchtime we didn't have to wait long for the food. Friendly and helpful staff. We have visited a few times now, still a great place to visit.

Good food cooked as I asked it. Great coffee. Nice old school buildings. But no windows upstairs to see out off, so lacking a little in atmosphere, just blank walls to look at.

Lovely tea room nice atmosphere and a great location. I had a very nice light fruit scone and a cappuccino sat in their garden at the rear of the shop looking over the stream in the bottom. Bliss.
