It was recommended by a friend as I had allways gone elsewhere so tried it and the fish and chips were sooo good the batter so crispy and delicious. The lady who served me was lovely and it had a lovely atmosphere

During Lockdown , we have been traveling once a week from Mansfield to different Chippys . I advise anyone going to Derbyshire lane chippy , to go ahead and visit . Just by chance we stopped and had our F&C , at the local cricket club .

Never been disappointed with the quality of the fish and chips from here. In my opinion, they are the best in the area. Always fresh, always fast and friendly service and at a very reasonable price.

👎 Shame about ridiculous Opening Hours. Closes at 8pm (8:30pm Friday!). And closed Sunday and Monday.
The best fish I've had in a good long while. Large chips were far too many for one person. Lovely staff. Would REALLY appreciate it if cards were accepted.
Good chip shop but got the potential to do better, good food but runs out of fish to fast, the lady advised me to call in my fish order before going I'll remember next time
