Friendly staff, nice warm clean pub and delicious food. The onion ring horseshoe was great and the vegetable lasagna delicious. Easy to get a table and order on the app.
Both myself and my friend ordered the garlic ciabatta chicken sandwich. It came with fries and onion rings. The portion size was more than substantial. Our food came quickly and was pipping hot. Would recommend.
Two of us tried the Saturday Special. Both meals were very tasty and served by Tiffany our waitress. She was very pleasant and attentive. We had a very enjoyable evening.
Lovely place,staff only saw two of front house staff whom sempt busy but apologetic (felt sorry for them) meal was nice
I had a side of salt and pepper fries, as I didn't fancy anything large, but I can say my family's choices seemed particularly nice. My young son ate his kids' meal pasta. I've always enjoyed meals at Greene King, though this is the first time outside London.
My partner and I love coming in and the food is always delicious and reasonably priced.
All staff have been lovely and when we had an item missed off they were quick and happy to correct.
A less busy alternative to the spoons up the road. Whilst I prefer the spoons, it's nice to have a change and have a less noisy steak, chips and a pint. Worth a visit. Bar often understaffed is my main gripe.

Thank you so much to the staff who looked after our party of 11 today. The food was really nice, service pretty quick, staff very helpful. Loved the corner where we were sat for our family get together to celebrate our granddaughters 21st birthday, she didn't want any fuss so this was very low key,
Lovely food and great service from bar staff and Tiffany as usual! She runs round (not literally) like a mad woman! Proper hard working and friendly. Something we notice everytime we eat here! She is a Super Star!

My daughter as to have gluten free and family went for dinner when we got our dinner some of it was cold and my daughter had ask for hers to be taken back twice as it had stuffing on some of the food which she couldn't have as it's gluten so wasn't very impressed

Food was 100% better than last time I was there,I had fish and chips and fish was in layers like fish should be and skilled down with a nice pint of John Smiths.
