I have never been to Sheffield, so I haven't visited your pub. However, you are trending online in regards to the post you made regarding people with disabilities. I just feel you deserve 5 stars for being one of the rare decent humans left, doing what we all should be; treating everyone with respect and open arms. I hope this message spreads and others follow your example. It isn't difficult to be kind and understanding, nor to stand your ground in the face of those willing to bring others down.

Will definitely be returning. Great customer service combined with restaurant quality food at pub grub prices made for a great meal out!

We visited yesterday evening, the food was absolutely beautiful and the man serving us was polite and couldn't do enough for us! Defiantly the best food and service we have had since we have been coming to the barrel! 5*��
What an amazing place to end the day at. Had the pulled pork nachos for a starter and a sirloin steak with extra onion rings for my main. My god it was to die for! Amazing service and such a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely eat there again.
Based on their attitude towards disability you deserve these start and more. I wish you all the very best.

Fabulous food - 2 large Sunday dinners, cheese burger, gourmet burger and chicken fajita, plus gorgeous desserts for the kids (we were stuffed!)

Just had a meal with family and really enjoyed it. The lads have made really good improvements with the menu, great value for money too.

As a parent of a daughter that has Autism and sometimes people look at her differently. Thank you for being so kind to this father and son. I would love to visit your pub sometime!
What a lovely afternoon sat in the beer garden in the sunshine. Kids enjoyed playing on the bouncy castle and the outdoor play area. We ordered food, there was four adults and four children. We all had a main course and five had sweets and three had a cup of tea. Total cost was just under £100.00. The food was lovely, tasty and good portion size. Excellent service, fast, efficient and friendly. Car parking is plentiful and just outside main entrance. Toilets are clean and accessible. We will visit again.
Booked a table for six and had the Sunday Carvery which was absolutely fab. Food was delicious and cooked just right. Pub not too busy, the atmosphere was relaxed and we enjoyed a lovely afternoon with friends and family. Very satisfied party of six!
Best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time.All fresh veg and plenty of it.Big Yorkshire pudding,thick sliced pork,Gravy was very nice.
Popped in for dinner & drink this evening. Staff was brilliant, steak originally came wrong but was rectified straight away (didn't get pictures of mains but here's the starters we chose) and rest of our food was very tasty.
Lovely area for kids to play and very pleasant atmosphere. Will 100% recommend and hopefully be back!

We were over for a family get together and we were made very welcome, and the food was ace. Highly recommend the Gammon and the home cooked chips were perfect 👌

Had a family meal here for my 60th birthday, could not fault a single thing. I would highly recommend The Barrel for any function.
Great pub! The food was really good and when I forgot to mention something about my order they resolved it for me straight away. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Lots of entertainment for children, nice atmosphere and looks like it's been recently renovated so everything was clean and smart. Would definitely recommend and go back to!

Very welcoming and clean pub, food was fresh, piping hot and delicious, served by Paula she was very friendly and extremely helpful can not recommend enough.

Popped up to visit some family who suggested we go here for some lunch. We had a mixture of meals between the four of us, with my wife sharing hers with our little one. I had the pepperoni pizza and asked for it to have bbq sauce as a base. When the pizza came out, you could tell it was fresh made and it tasted so good. Staff were quick to serve n very helpful and accommodating when it came to the little boy too.
The Barrel is a dog and family friendly place and as someone that’s not local, I’d happily visit again when I’m next in the area
