It's one of those off the map places that everyone in the world should find. The community spirit of the pub is second to none, the food is outstanding, the cellar in excellent order and the entertainment is top class. I can't rave about The Crown enough. A must for anyone and everyone.
We went for a birthday meal and it was lovely staff/ owner was so welcoming and friendly and the food was really good we will definitely be back.
Met our youngest son there for lunch, found on the internet (where else �) great choice of food, great beer and top class service. Thoroughly recommended.
Great pub, we don't go in that often but when we do there's always a great friendly atmosphere. Roger can't dance! (lol sorry pal) but Linda knows how to make a good mug of coffee, even though the machine was turned off it wasn't too much trouble for Linda to go in the back at 20:45 to make me a coffee. Thanx for a lovely village pub.
I love this pub. I've covered the karaoke twice for Blue Savannah. The people are really down to earth, and there's never any trouble. Really nice folk who love a good night out. And the bar staff are fantastic. Keep up the good work Roger !!
The Crown is the hub of the village. The atmosphere is always homely and friendly. There is a great clientele and vary rare you see any trouble. It's a safe place to be. Roger and Linda work hard to keep this happy pub enjoyable to all. Iv lived in the village all my life and any celebrations are usually involving the Crown. The entertainment has been great over the years. Both Kareoke and individual singers. You can always get a good meal there to. There are lots of fund raises for charity and different activities through the week. Well done Roger n Linda and all your staff. Xxx

We had our wedding meal on Friday and roger was great. The meal was fantastic as always. He made us all comfortable and after a few last minute alterations on my part what felt like a big deal to me roger told me not to worry and relax. We had a great day so thank you again and thank you to the waiting staff and chef. Top job guys xx
Both my wife and I had an enjoyable Tuesday evening learning all about gin from the Locklsey Distillery. Value for money 2 gin and tonic cocktails and buffet for £5.00. Well done to the landlord, staff and the Locksley Distillery home the very nice tasting Sir Robin of Locksley gin.

Roger and family do an amazing job at what appears to come naturally to them! Friendly service and big smiles always! We visit the crown regularly and have never been disapointed. All i can say is if you decide to visit this welcoming, friendly, fun establishment you wont be dissapointed! Food and entertainment always top quality 5* :)
Amy is the superb new landlady... The food is outstanding...and very reasonably priced for the amazing quality.... She has been so welcoming to as we are not locals... And I am blown away with how comfortable we feel in this establishment.... Love it and love her
The Food is home cooked, and freshly prepared, accept the fact you have to wait after you order and you will not be disappointed.
The let down with landlords the Pub is brewary owned and the drinks price set and well over the top for the area it serves, in my case a pint of cider and brandy £11, where we normally pay less than £8 anywhere else.
A lovely little find, quiet little pub with super friendly and helpful staff and the food was amazing. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

I've never tried food here, I'm not even sure they do it but I can tell you Friday night karaoke is great. The locals are all lovely and friendly as are the staff.

First time at this Nice, modern, traditional little pub. Nice and welcoming staff. Not your normal chain pub food, more traditional home made food, like my mama use to make!!!. The quality of the food, outweigh the sensible portions. I would recommend and will be going back.
Went for a meal on recommendation from Google, and to be honest, this is a little gem, and all the good feedback wasn't lying. Good staff, food was excellent, will worth a visit.
Did another gig here, top night. The regulars are open and friendly, and enjoyed dancing to my sets. Roger the bar manager (landlord?) Is a very nice guy, approachable and positive. The place has a decent sized car park, varied menu, with some really attractive meals & offers. It is one of those pubs you would look forward to returning to.
This is a friendly and welcoming pub. The staff give excellent service. The clients are also friendly, always someone to talk to.
The meals are well prepared and served.
I had steak and stilton pie it was full of flavour, really enjoyed it.
There is a good range of drinks. Something for all.

We had Sunday Lunch here with my elderly Dad and family. The meals are well priced with a good menu choice. The lunch was home cooked with fresh veggies and home made Yorkshire Pud. All served hot from a very pleasant smiley friendly waitress and drinks equally served by friendly bar staff.. It was great to have the option of a smaller portion for Dad and we also were given a choice of great Sunday desert pudding. The pub is traditional very clean, welcoming and spacious. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Popular local pub. Very safe place to be for socializing with family and friends. Good food and drinks, kareoke every Friday plus music acts on Saturdays. A place for young and old to enjoy a good night out. Would strongly recommend.
The food was spot on and perfect if you're on a budget.
Absolutely disgusting, I was there for a Christening, no food came out for 2.00pm nearer 3.00pm, the prawns were frozen, only 3 meals came out and people had to wait for the gravy which made the meal cold, the so called beef looked like packet beef. One adult had to go and fetch food from the fish shop to feed the children the so called cook never came out to appologised or anything, it wasn't very professional
This is my local and what a lovely pub! Great homemade food and a good pint. There are 2 rooms which is good to separate the areas when there is an act on for the evening or when food is been served in one room. Generally always busy but never to the point its overbearing.
The Hoy family would like to say a massive thank you to Karen and her team for the amazing send off we had for mum at The Crown today, the buffet was amazing and on what was a sad day, it is such a nice place for mums family and friends to get together and remember mum.
Lovely staff, friendly and attentive. Food was fantastic (both had the fish and chips), beer was also lovely. Would absolutely recommend to anyone travelling by.
