Simply the best cream stone tea (or coffee) for miles around. Lovely little tea room in Wortley village. Friendly welcome good service. Great to sit outdoors on sunny day. Enjoyed immensely would highly recommend. ☕️

Great find! Delightful little place, like stepping back in time! Deliciously light Victoria Sponge (a difficult decision as all the scones and cakes looked amazing), and a good pot of Yorkshire Tea. Lovely staff, great countryside feel. Will be returning soon!

Gorgeous tea room. Popped in today for a coffee and cake, both were great. What really made this place stand out was the service and friendly welcome. Will definitely be back again very soon.

Thank you for a delicious afternoon tea and very friendly service. It was a very welcome break to our long drive but worth our detour and I'm sure we'll be back.

Have driven past the countess tearooms on many occasion and always thought it would be a nice place to stop off for coffee. So glad we finally did. Enjoyed an afternoon Tea for two. It was beautifully presented and tasted as delicious as it looked. Such a bargain too. All freshly prepared and home baked produce. Think I'll have to make the countess a destination in its own right rather than just a stopping place.

Just had afternoon tea at the Countess Tea Rooms, Wortley village - absolutely delicious and very promptly and politely served. All sandwiches freshly prepared and scones and cakes home made and absolutely delicious, definitely a 10 out of 10 - we will be back!!! Thank you for a lovely tea.

An absolute gem of a cafe. I regularly drive 10 miles with my dog to pop in for a breakfast or a sandwich followed by a walk around the close Hall gardens . Never had a complaint. Keep it up . :-)

Visited for a coffee and a scone. Made to feel very welcome by polite friendly staff. Got talking to two other customers and before we knew it we had spent an hour. They do a rewards card which we shall be making good use of. The scone and coffee were of good quality just in case you ask.

Absolutely wonderful little cafe. The friendliest staff, lovely food and cakes, and very reasonably priced. Impeccably clean and really lovely room. I took my two young girls today and we will definitely be going again (the lemon drizzle cake was a big hit!)

Stopped on our way back home from Sheffield. Lovely cafe, lovely coffee and scone/carrot cake. Owner very nice and chatty. Seating inside and outside, there is a little shop attached with jams, honey and chutney etc. Well worth a stop for refreshments on a car journey.

I was at a loose end so popped in for a coffee and a bite to eat, and wow I’m so glad I did the two blonde ladies here were exceptional hosts. The food was of the highest standard one could expect, and the location was stunning. I will definitely be visiting this fine establishment again in the near future. Couldn’t be more impressed, well done 10/10

Excellent cafe stop, in our case for a group of cyclists. We had rung ahead to let them know we were coming. They accommodated us outside enjoying the shade on a hot day, took our orders at the table. The drinks and food came promptly, with generous portions well prepared and served, refilled our water bottles, nothing was too much trouble. Friendly and welcoming, highly recommended

What a lovely setting for a great cafe. The menu and prices are good, I need to eat gluten free and had a very generous slice of delicious carrot cake. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
