Fantastic food, including home made pies. The service is brilliant too. There was a mix up with our large group booking, but they managed to accommodate us without issue. Somewhat unbelievable, but we know The Swan is always a brilliant choice for our family meals.
First time here and will revisit. Lovely clean and attractive decor and seating. Well decorated toilets too. Really nice. I had the bangers and mash for lunch . very tasty 😋🤤
First time visit to the Swan. Very homely , and welcoming 🙏. The feel of the place it's you immediately. The service was warm and 2nd to none. Was served by Chelsea, who was really nice 👍 polite, and welcoming once again. Will definitely 💯 return
Lovely pub with great food and a warm welcome. The steak and kidney pie was delicious as was the gammon steak. Very generous portion sizes and the syrup sponge and custard was perfect. Definitely recommend a visit.
I popped into The Swan today for a couple of pints and decided to get a takeaway meal. The place was busy, really busy, and the amount of arriving and departing customers seemed never ending. Even though visibly under pressure the staff were organised, friendly and polite. The food and service were

Excellent, friendly service, delicious food and a lovely afternoon well spent. Highly recommend.
Hearty food menu with an ever changing specials board. Lots of drinks to choose from, especially when the beer festival is on!
We havnt visited the swan for a while. We were told our table number. We were squashed onto a table for 2 my husband couldnt even swing his legs under the table so ate his food sat sideways.😮. We asked to be moved but was told there was no more available tables. Even though the place was virtually e
Great, proper pub grub. Top choice of Pies, other traditional meals . Good choice of cask ales too. Recommended
Great first trip to the Swan. Only giving a 4 out of 5 for the food as so far I've only ticked one item off the menu. Staff were lovely and accommodating even though we had booked a table and the pub quiz was great fun. If a little unique 🤣 See you all soon ☺️
The food is amazing!! A family of 4 had different main courses and 4 different desserts and everything was done brilliantly. The pies were great and desserts were generous compared with what other similar places offer!! All went down with a great traditional pint of beer. Would love to live nearby

Hadn't visited this pub before so i had a pleasant surprise when i did, i met up with some ex footballing pals for a catch-up on our lives in General. The beer was very good as well, the Barnsley bitter was on form and Dave was waxing lyrical about the Stones bitter too. The others were just on Carl
