I love being able to share good experiences and this place hands down is amazing! I have come a couple of times now and I don't even live near here but it's one of my favourite Sheffield pubs!! They have a big drinks selection for everyone from allsorts of beer, lager and cider on tap and of course my favourite... LOTS of spirits 😍🥰 rum, brandy, whisky, gin, wine whatever you could possibly want!!! Even tea and coffee 😁 Going on to the food.... I have never eaten anything here, thats not nice and delicious! The chicken new yorker is lovely and all their burgers too. On my last trip, I tried their Sunday dinners.... they do not hold back on portions (see pictures). The food is reasonably priced and personally I think it's cheap for the amount you get. All food is fresh and comes out steaming hot 🤤🤤🤤 It's a good place for friends to catch up, to bring the family for a meal and leading onto my next part, very kid friendly!! They have a gated play area on the back garden part and lots of lovely seating to relax on sunny days (if we ever have any🙄). Some arcades machines for children inside and a very wide ranged menu for adults and children. I want to applaude the staff, they are all friendly, very helpful and go the extra mile! There was a mess up with our order but they gave us free desserts and was very apologetic about it so we was happy! I want to mention naomi, our server at the time who was really friendly and amazing at her job and handled things professionally and had great customer service (give her a raise) 😁 So if you are looking for a good day out, I would recommend this place and give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could!!! @mantiumofficial @tektonik0 @t.a.g.0114

Wow winner winner chicken dinner two chicken roast Sunday dinners for £14 99p excellent value and very delicious nice big airy pub eating house popular with all age's child friendly good play area for children outside plenty of parking wheel chair friendly I love the vibe of this place very friendly helpful staff as a very comfortable feel really can't recommend this place enough good choice of food very reasonable prices 👌 the hardy pick as offers on every day 😀 👍visited again still same excellent food I thought the sizzling tandoori chicken was amazing

Lovely meal with family, it's a busy place so best to book in advance. Great parking just outside and excellent value for money. Good sized portions of food and The Hardy Pick has different offers on each night. Food was good, arrived hot and I consider great value. Most main courses £10 or less! Good place for families and children.

Went there on Thursday and go for their freebie Thursday deal which is free starter or pudding with any super special. I ordered the jerk chicken and ribs as you can see from the picture the chicken tasted so bland and the ribs were dried too! For the pudding I go for millionaires cheesecake which is ok. I would go back again but I won’t recommend the jerk chicken and ribs!

This pub/restaurant is okay, the staff are great and very friendly they are very accommodating, willing to help where possible. Drinks are prepared with care and they serve a decent pint too. The food is pretty decent for pub grub, but I would say it is a little pricey. There is a garden with a play area outside to keep the kiddos entertained. In certain areas of this pub there it is need of maintenance as the decor has started to wear away and the walls could do with a lick of paint. Overall I had a good experience here and I Will return in the future. Disabled access is available with easy assess facilities.

First visit to the Hardy Pick and it won't be the last. Plenty of choice on the menu. The food was good, the waitress was welcoming and friendly and we didn't have to wait long until our meals were brought to our table.

Redoing this review, food was amazing, staff very helpful and friendly, atmosphere very good, bit of a mix up with seating but staff resolved it very quickly could not fault quick service

Hardy Pick is a well placed, large and open spaced pub owned by the Green King company. Update Oct 22, they have a breakfast special on, £7.49, it's a breakfast in a burger, 2 burgers, bacon, egg, chips on the side and beans. Looks fantastic. I had a chip buttie on this visit but it had a twist. Chips, pulled pork, a side of onion gravey on a bread roll with melted cheese inside. Looks simple, tasted delicious and was nice and filling. See photo below. Very modern decor and tastefully laid out. Predominantly an eating style pub serving a wide variety of pub style meals with a wide choice on the menu. They do have a pool table, Dart board and poker is played on a Thursday night at 8pm. Sports are also shown on TV I visited mid week and was surprised how many people were there, most were eating meals and the food looked excellent. I have heard good reviews about the food which is why I visited and can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. As well as the menu items there are daily specials. Parking is easy in a well lit carpark, disabled spaces are positioned right outside the entrance. Toilets are clean and to an excellent standard. Baby changing and disabled toilets are easily accessible. Seating inside was comfortable, outside seating is also available. Staff are pleasant and well presented in matching uniforms. This is a nice venue, I would highly recommend it. Service was excellent and no interruptions during your meal. Food cooked to order and arrived hot, all ingredients were quality items. The pub quickly emptied around 9pm, around the time when most people had finished eating which reinforced my view that this was mainly a pub grub venue but don't let this put you off from visiting as there are plenty of different beers available and the staff are very friendly and polite.
